Some Of Your Favorite Transformers Can Now Turn Into Officially Licensed NFL Helmets

Summary
- Hasbro has teamed up with the NFL for a series of football-themed Transformers.
- The action figures can all transform into helmets representing the four teams included in the collection.
- In mech form, the figures are wearing smaller helmets and come with a little football accessory.
Hasbro has teamed up with the NFL for a very unique collection of Transformers action figures. These new toys don't transform into trucks, cars, or planes - they transform into officially licensed NFL helmets, each of which is attributed to a different franchise.
Before you get too excited, there isn't a Transformer for all 32 teams in the NFL, although I'm assuming that might one day be the goal if this first batch of figures is popular enough. The first four franchises selected for Transformers duty are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys.

Today's Transformers action figures are a lot more advanced and complex than the ones I'm used to.
PostsHasbro has done a little more than give existing Transformers NFL makeovers to match their respective franchises. These are all new characters with names designed to match the teams they represent. Steelsmash for the Steelers, Tundra Prime for the Packers, KC-59 for the Chiefs, and my personal favorite - based on the name, not the team, Starblitz for the Cowboys.
Transformers Are Coming To The NFL
All Four Action Figures Are Available For Pre-Order Now
CloseThe Transformers in this collection needed to be original characters since they can turn into something Transformers have never been able to turn into before. While all of them are decked out in the colors of their respective teams, they can also transform into helmets reminiscent of the ones players from those teams wear on the field every Sunday during the NFL season.
It takes 23 steps to turn each Transformer from a mech into a football helmet, and then the same number of steps to get them back to their original form again, naturally. Once in helmet form, it's almost impossible to tell that they're Transformers action figures if you don't know already. Perfect for wowing anyone who happens to admire them.
When back in Transformer form, each of the figures has an even smaller helmet of its own that it can wear, and all of them come with a tiny replica of an NFL football. Each figure is 5.5 inches tall, and all of them are available for pre-order now at Amazon through the link in the box below. The only downside is they won't be released until December 15, 2025, but on the bright side, that makes them perfect potential holiday gifts for the Transformers and football fans in your life at $24.99 each.

Hasbro has teamed up with the NFL to create a range of officially licensed Transformers action figures.
