PostsDespite plenty of deadly enemies, only the enemies with health bars are considered boss fights in these games.
Though bosses tend to be more challenging than regular enemies, some of these fights are more difficult than others. These are the top Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered bosses ranked from least to most difficult.
12 Natla’s Henchmen
CloseIn Tomb Raider 1, you face all five of Jacqueline Natla’s henchmen: Larson, Pierre, Cowboy, Skater Boy, and Bald Man. The men each have their own boss battles in separate parts of the game.
As human enemies armed with guns, these characters are the easiest bosses in the three games. Though they're fairly easy wins, Larson and Pierre are likely the most difficult of the five as you fight them more than once.
11 Centaur
You’ll find your first centaur outside of Tihocan’s tomb in Greece. Two stone centaurs stand next to the entrance of the tomb. Once you get close enough, a real centaur will emerge from the statue and attack you.
They’re one of the first Atlantean enemies you fight, so their ability to trample, shoot at you, and explode when killed easily stands out against your average animal enemies. That said, you’ll fight plenty of centaur enemies in Egypt and Natla’s Mines, making them less of a standout boss. You can also completely avoid fighting the centaur by running straight past it into the tomb.
10 Fiamma Nera
Unlike Natla’s henchmen, Fiamma Nera’s boss fight is actually a significant threat. Multiple bloodthirsty cult members and Dobermann dogs are present, making it easy to get ganged up on. To make matters worse, one of the cult members is carrying heavy artillery and is much harder to kill than the average mercenary.
If you want to avoid being surrounded by these enemies, you can stay perched in the window, shooting them from above. This tactic is a bit more time-consuming as you have to wait for the enemies to come into view, but it helps you avoid damage.
9 Tony
The Tony boss fight takes place in India in Tomb Raider 3, the longest of the three games. Here in the Caves of Kaliya, Tony's mystical abilities set him apart from the typical henchman boss fight. Your arena consists of several platforms in a body of water.

PostsUsing the Infada Stone, Tony can levitate and shoot energy blasts at Lara. This boss is a great reason to really master your side flips. If you stand on one platform and dodge the blasts by flipping side to side, you can continuously shoot at Tony until he’s down. Tank controls work well here, as the flipping mechanic is easier to trigger.
8 T-Rex 1, 2, & 3
CloseThink you’ve seen the last of the dinosaurs in Tomb Raider 1? Think again. Finding dinosaurs in the Lost Valley is already incredible, so finding them on three separate occasions may come as a shock. There's a T-Rex boss fight in each of the three games.
The T-Rex fights can be challenging based on the dinosaurs' size and speed. However, Tomb Raider 2 is the most difficult of the three, as you must fight two back-to-back. Your best bet is to keep your distance and leverage your shotgun.
7 Sophia Leigh
Sophia Leigh serves as the London boss in Tomb Raider 3. She uses the Eye of Isis, one of the five meteorite artifacts, as a weapon against Croft. Leigh mounts the artifact on a staff and shoots blue/green energy blasts that inflict significant damage.
The most challenging part of Leigh's boss fight is the environment. She attacks you while running on rooftops, making it easy for you to fall or be knocked off. Because the boss focuses more on the platformer aspect of the game, you must be cautious and concise while jumping, climbing, and grabbing ledges while still dodging attacks.
6 Jacqueline Natla
The Natla boss fight in the first Tomb Raider is a twist. Instead of dying after falling into a pit of lava, Natla returns as the real final boss. The iconic Tomb Raider villain now has wings and a gun attached to her arm, revealing her true Atlantean form.

PostsIn this boss, Natla is an upgraded version of the winged Atlanteans you previously fought. She'll fly high above you, shooting fireballs at you and taking cover behind pillars. Because she's flying and has access to cover, Natla can be difficult to lock in on. When you do manage to defeat her, she’ll heal herself and return for an encore.
5 Guardian Of The Talion
While trying to retrieve the Talion artifact in Tomb Raider 2, Lara must defeat the Guardian of the Talion. The Guardian is a large, strong man-bird hybrid. When you enter the Ice Palace, the Guardian will charge you, slamming its feathery fists into the snow.
It’s easier to fight him if you climb on the ice blocks around you. It’s best to keep your distance from him, no matter which weapons you use, as getting too close could easily kill you.
4 Puna
You’ll encounter Puna in the South Pacific location of Tomb Raider 3. Puna uses the abilities of the Ora Dagger. Though he’s seated throughout your entire fight, Puna’s attacks are incredibly powerful. Puna turns his chair to aim lightning bolts at you, forcing you to dodge.
He also summons small monstrous creatures to attack you. Though these creatures aren’t too difficult to defeat, they make for a great distraction. Focusing on these smaller enemies makes it easier for Puna to catch you off guard and knock you off the platform.
3 Dagger Of Xian Dragon
At the end of Tomb Raider 2, Marco Bartoli stabs himself with the Dagger of Xian, transforming himself into a giant dragon. You won’t have too much space between you and the dragon, so you’ll need to keep your distance. The dragon will chase you, giving you time to shoot at him while evading attacks.
The boss is taken up a notch with the dragon’s fire-breathing ability. The dragon will briefly stop chasing you to shoot a fiery blast at you, which should be avoided at all costs. Fire is a very unforgiving element in Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered.
