But, every stuff pack has some secrets up its sleeves, and Crystal Creations is no different. The various gems and jewelry you craft have another purpose. You can charge them up using the power of the moonlight. Once you know how to do it, you'll be able to reap all the benefits crystals can offer.

How To Charge Up Jewelry And Gemstones

Jewelry and Gemstones can be charged up at night by placing them on the Mystical Moonlight Crystal Grid. You can purchase this object that's exclusive to the pack in Buy Mode. Go to Activities and Skills > Outdoor Activities and you can purchase it for 50 Simoleons.

Place it anywhere outside. As mentioned above, this object requires moonlight to work, so make sure it's not indoors. You can click on the grid once you've got it placed, and select Charge Gemstones and Jewelry. You can then choose which objects you want to charge up.

Make sure to put the gemstones and jewelry you want to charge in your Sim's inventory. If they aren't there, they won't appear on the options to choose from to charge up.

How Long Does It Take To Charge Crystals?

Once you've placed your chosen gemstones and jewelry on the crystal grid, you'll need to wait for them to charge up. Crystals can only charge from the hours of 7 PM and 7 AM. This is because they charge by moonlight.

Once you've placed them on the crystal grid, it will take around six hours in-game for the crystals to fully charge. Once they are charged, they'll begin to glow green and blue. You can then remove them by clicking on the grid and choosing Collect Fully Charged Items.

Once the crystals are fully charged, you can activate several special effects for your Sim or room, depending on what crystal the gemstone or jewelry is made with.
