- Lots of names will be easy to deduce based on dialogue and documents addressed to those who hold them.
- Two people don't have names just yet, they have job titles. To work out who is who, you'll need to figure out the exact time of day and use this to work out how far into the proceedings events are.

- You'll know the time of day at this point, and thus will know the players at hand. Think about precisely who should be in the room and who should not.
- The usher's statement can't be true, can it? What does this mean?
- Examine her words. Examine the speech prepared for the king to record. Notice anything?
- There are three ways to exit the room: the main door, the window, and the trap door. Two of these are red herrings. To be more blunt: ignore words like locked and unlocked.
- The cause of death is quite easy to find and then pair with something from the pile of gifts.
- Take note of the fabric you can find in the trash can.
- Also, take note of the speaker in the hallway. Is there a reason that's there?
Solution
As Lutri Manzek recorded his speech, first sentinel killed him with a dagger from a statuette. Afterwards, the killer moved the body.
To escape, first sentinel edited the speech and played it for Beka Shabak, who then let the killer out.
