The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom - 12 Best Items To Fuse To Arrows

One of Link's most consistent weapons is the Bow, and Tears of the Kingdom gives you one very early on. Having ranged attacks is a necessity for surviving in the game, so it's smart to pick up Arrows whenever you can.

Even smarter is to pick up as many materials as possible such as plants and minerals, so you have more things to Fuse to your Arrows. This allows you to make them even more effective in battle or even turn them into useful tools. On that note, there are certain items that have the best results when you use Fuse them to Arrows.
Updated on June 12, 2023, by William Quick: Fusion is one of the most interesting and entertaining mechanics to play with in Tears Of The Kingdom. In the midst of aiming your bow, you can fuse almost anything from your inventory to your arrows. There's so much potential for an extensive Tears Of The Kingdom Fuse list with chances to create so many arrow types with a variety of effects. There's more than one kind of explosive that you can fuse to make Bomb Arrows, and even some chilling Ice Arrows.
It's important to make the most of each one since Tears Of The Kingdom Arrows are not as common as you might think, with many treasure chests actually rewarding you with arrows when you get them. But whether you're making Explosive Arrows, Homing Arrows, or Elemental Arrows, Tears Of The Kingdom is very generous with all of its resources and materials. Here are some that you should keep at the top of your arrow fuse list.
12 Bomb Flowers
The classics are classics for a reason… because they're awesome. Now while Link has access to his usual bomb disposal methods, Bomb Flowers are in full in Hyrule. You can find these flowers growing near rocky formations and sometimes in caves.
By Fusing them into Arrows, the Bomb Arrow makes a triumphant return. It's the perfect weapon for ambushing a group of enemies or dealing heavy damage to larger foes like Boss Bokoblins. They can also be used to clear out walls of breakable rocks or mine a whole batch of Ore Deposits in a matter of seconds. Just make sure you stay at a good distance.
11 Fire Fruit
Since the Great Fairies are focused on hiding away and enhancing Link's armor, you need to make your own magic. The first step to doing that is picking Fire Fruits. These red-orange bulbs are fairly common and can grow in a number of environments, though tend to prefer very green locations.
By Fusing these into your Arrows, you get another classic in the Fire Arrow. This is a precise way to set enemies and objects on fire without being too destructive. They're also quite useful when it comes to cooking, and you can eat them to restore your health in a pinch.
10 Shock Fruit
If there's one element that Link isn't as familiar with as others, it's electricity. He's used it before with tools and to solve puzzles, but is not known for weaponizing it. With a vast world to explore, there are tons of natural elements to play around with including the high voltage of the Shock Fruit.
Fuse this, and you'll get Shock Arrows which send a powerful current through the target stunning them for a good few seconds. What's even cooler is that during rainstorms, these arrows gain an AoE effect that allows them to shock and stun multiple enemies at once to take them out all at once.
9 Splash Fruit
Water is something that most people dread in video games, especially in The Legend Of Zelda series since Link is not a consistently strong swimmer. Still, this doesn't mean that you can't have any fun with water, and the perfect example of this is the Splash Fruit which grows all over the plains.
By fusing these, you'll end up with Splash Arrows that are effective at cleaning the gunk all around the Zora Domain. The real fun comes in the fact that you essentially have water balloons to douse oblivious enemies and put out fiery sources if you want to be helpful.
8 Muddle Bud
The Depths is a new map that's been introduced by the Upheaval and has been exposed by all the Chasms around the Kingdom. By diving in and landing safely at the bottom, you'll gain access to a whole new region full of interesting flora. Of these are the dark purple rose-like flowers called Muddle Buds which you can pick from around the large trees and mushrooms.

These things are like confusion in your hand and Fusing them to Arrows gives you Muddle Arrows. Hit an enemy with it, and they'll attack anything that gets near them. As you can imagine, this is extremely useful and entertaining when assaulting enemy camps and forts that have a large boss in charge.
7 White ChuChu Jelly
A recurring enemy in The Legend Of Zelda series is the ChuChu, Hyrule's version of slimes. These colorful blobs can thrive in any environment and will literally pop out of the ground to jump at you. Based on their color, they can hit you with elemental attacks.
If you're in cold regions, you can find White ChuChu and slay them for their Chuchu Jelly. Attack this to your Arrows, and you'll end up with Ice Arrows that can freeze most enemies solid. While frozen, enemies are immobile, and you can hit them with all sorts of attacks until they thaw or shatter.
6 Puffshroom
Keep exploring the Depths, and you'll come across a lot of strange and curious things, including giant mushrooms. Growing around them are smaller versions called Puffshrooms. They're described as being bitter, so they can't be used in cooking but can be an ingredient in elixirs.
They also have an interesting effect when Fused into Arrows, turning them into Puff Arrows. By firing these at enemies or at an area, a huge puff of smoke is produced which can disorient them. This creates an opportunity for you to retreat, seek cover, or run in and find a good spot to continue your attack.
5 Keese Parts
Another recurring enemy in Hyrule is the Keese which are essentially bats. In the newer games, they've been redesigned to have one huge eye and protruding teeth. Like actual bats, they're frequently encountered at night or in dark spots like caves.

Defeating them will get you Keese Eyes and Keese Wings for your collection. Fuse the Eye to your Arrows, and it will literally veer toward targets as a Homing Arrow. If you Fuse a Wing to your Arrows, you can fire from greater safety as they fly farther becoming Flight Arrows.
4 Courser Bee Honey
Bees are a force to be reckoned with in real-life and in gaming with no shame to be felt should you succumb to their stings. Whenever Link gets too close to Bees, they will fly after him to sting him for a decent amount of damage. In Tears Of The Kingdom, you can find Bees swarming their Hives that can be found hanging from trees around Hyrule.
If you shoot the Hive down, you can grab the Hive and get away before the Bees can catch you. Rub the Courser Bee Honey on your Arrows and turn them into Stinger Arrows which will draw a swarm of Bees to whatever and whoever they hit. Bee Courser Honey is also quite valuable as food and an ingredient.
3 Horns And Claws
The world of Hyrule is dangerous, and despite the number of enemies that are intelligent enough to make and wield weapons, it's clear that many of these enemies don't need them. They're naturally equipped with a variety of Horns and Claws to gore you, which you can use for yourself.
By fighting monsters, you'll end up with quite a diverse collection. If you fuse either of them to your arrows, aside from making them look more awesome, you'll also give them a solid power boost depending on their type to give you an edge in ranged combat.
