PostsBy the Northern Sanctuary, you'll find a large graveyard. Here lie many deceased Hylians, but below the surface is a haunted dungeon ripe for delving. We'll show you how to unlock the dungeon and walk you through the puzzles so you can confront the boss within.
How To Unlock The Graveyard Dungeon
After restoring the Northern Sanctuary Rift, the graveyard next to the chapel will appear. You can walk among the gravestones and speak to the visitors.
The focus, however, should be on the massive grave to the east. While you can't interact with the stone itself, you can light the braziers beside it. Lighting both of them is the key to moving the tombstone and unlocking the dungeon below.
How To Solve the Graveyard Puzzles
Head down the dark staircase to enter the tomb. There are several ghosts floating around down here, so dispatch them quickly and continue through the door to the west.
There's a stuffed-toy echo you can learn here that distracts the ghosts! Make sure to grab it.
In the next room, you need to strike a blue eye to open the locked door. However, this eye is behind a wall you can't get through. Thankfully, the ghini echo can!
Summon one and target the eye beyond the wall. The ghost will pass through the wall and strike it for you, opening the way forward so you can confront the big bad ghost within.
How To Defeat The Giant Ghost Boss
The giant ghost boss is formidable, mostly because of the ghinis it summons to swarm you. Use your newly-learned stuffed-toy echo to draw them away from the boss, then swoop in and launch your attacks.
Summoning several Boomerang Boarblins can help with crowd control while you focus on the boss.
Because ghosts can go through walls, it's futile to try and corner them or block them in. Instead, prioritize moving around and keeping your distance until you can move in to strike.
Once the ghost is defeated, the door to the right will open. You can learn the Ghini Level Two echo and open a treasure chest in the next room. From there, you can exit the tomb by passing through the door to the south and heading back up the stairs.
