The First Descendant has Ultimate variants of its playable characters, featuring enhanced stats, exclusive augment modules, and a gilded appearance. Earning these characters is a major challenge due to their low drop rates, but obtaining an Ultimate character of your own makes endgame buildcraft much easier.

Posts 1Ultimate Valby has crashed into the current meta with her powerful AoE capabilities and new augments, giving her new build possibilities that turn Valby into a pure caster. If you're interested in obtaining Ultimate Valby yourself, you'll need to collect all four of her components. Let's go over how to obtain Ultimate Valby, where her parts drop, and discuss the most effective farming strategies for each component.
Where Does Ultimate Valby Drop?
Ultimate Valby's components all drop from Amorphous Material Patterns (AMPs for short). These act as itemized drop tables that you can crack open at certain Void Intercept boss fights and Void Reactors found in the open world. You can open one AMP per activity completion, which will then consume the material. You can enhance your drop rates with Shape Stabilizers, although this resource is exceedingly rare.
For this content release, Nexon has refreshed the AMP drop tables by removing certain materials while adding new ones. All of Ultimate Valby's AMPs are marked as "Mutant AA." You can earn these Amorphous Materials through dungeons, Recon missions in patrol content, and certain Special Operations. Once you have her components, visit Anais in Albion to start the research process.

Ultimate Valby's Code can drop from three different Amorphous Materials, although the clear winner is Amorphous Material 125 (AA). This drops from the Quarantine Zone dungeon in Fortress with a guaranteed drop rate. If you can speedrun the mission with tough modifiers, you can actually earn two materials every clear. You can crack open the material at Molten Fortress, a fairly easy fight, or the new Gluttony boss.
There's no debate here. Farm for Amorphous Material 125 (AA). It's easy to get, isn't terribly difficult to open, and has a whopping 20% chance of dropping Ultimate Valby's Code. If you don't have access to these endgame fights yet, you might want to farm Material 87 instead. For everyone else, stock up on AMP 125 and get cracking. It shouldn't take many runs to get her code to drop.

Ultimate Valby Enhanced Cells Drop Tables
One of these drop rates is not like the others. While Amorphous Material 115 (AA) has a whopping 32% drop rate, it needs to be cracked open by defeating Frost Walker or Gluttony. Gluttony is the last Void Intercept boss in the game, while Frost Walker is a mechanical nightmare for matchmade squads. If you can melt Frost Walker in seconds, farm for AMP 115 (AA). Lepic and Gley can kill Frost Walker with ease.
If you don't have builds that powerful yet, we actually suggest farming forAMP 44 (AA) instead. A 6% drop chance is significantly lower, but you can earn this material from a fairly short dungeon on Normal difficulty. Swamp Walker is also a complete pushover with a halfway decent weapon or Descendant build. You'll have to cope with either bad teammates or RNG for this component. Pick your poison.

Posts 2Ultimate Valby Stabilizer Drop Tables
Fortunately, Ultimate Valby's Stabilizer blueprint is quite easy to farm for. Both Materials 55 (AA) and 113 (AA) drop from Recon missions. You'll need to perform a successful infiltration for either material to drop, so Sharen is required. The good news is that Patch 1.0.5 made Void Fragments drop like candy in Special Operations, so you can avoid farming Void Fragment missions.
If we had to pick one, we recommend farming for AMP 55. Kingston's Recon mission is also the only source of Low-Carbon Activators in the game, a material that's needed to forge Energy Activators.

Ultimate Valby Spiral Catalyst Drop Tables
Once again, one of the Amorphous Materials for Ultimate Valby's Spiral Catalyst has a much higher drop chance than the rest. AMP 73 (AA) has a 20% chance of dropping the Spiral Catalyst Blueprint. All other AMPs have a meager 6% chance.
You can earn AMP 73 (AA) from Recon missions in Vespers' Lost Supply Depot region. This material only drops upon successful operation, so Sharen is required for this farm. Once you get the right material, head to the Vespers Void Reactor and summon the boss. Take them down and crack open your AMP.
