There are a lot of cool, unique items that you can find in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, but most of them are leveled. That means when you get it at a low level, you'll get an item with low stats since it scales with the character level. Some aren't, though, like Daedric Artifacts.

PostsUnlike normal leveled items, Daedric artifacts are always at their best, whatever level you're at. Of course, you'll need to be at a certain level to get some of them, but most are at mid-game levels. So, if you want some of the best gear in the game, then you should know where to find these quests.
How To Start The Hircine Quest
Some of the Daedric quests you can start in earlier levels, but not this one. You will need to be at least Level 17 to start the quest. You will also need either a wolf or a bear pelt to offer to the shrine so that the quest can start.
Where To Find Hircine's Shrine
Hircine's Shrine is located south-southeast of the Imperial City, deep in the woods. On the map, it's west of the 'N' in 'The Nibenay Valley'. The area is filled with leveled wildlife, and the roads can spawn bandits, so keep that in mind when going there.
Where To Find Wolf Or Bear Pelts
You can get wolf and bear pelts by defeating and looting wolves or bears. They can be found all over the map and are common leveled enemies even at level 30. You can also buy these pelts from General Goods traders like the Three Brothers Trade Goods in the Imperial City Market District.
If the merchant isn't selling the pelts, you can go outside their shop and wait for three days to reset their inventory.
How To Complete The Hircine Quest
Once you have all the prerequisites, you can go to the shrine and interact with it. You will get a choice of either offering the bear or wolf pelt if you have both. Hircine will task you with a simple hunt; you will need to kill a Unicorn in Harcane Grove and get its Unicorn Horn.
The grove is located to the southeast of the shrine. Unlike other Daedric quests that send you to dungeons, the grove is an open area in the forest.
When you get to the grove, you'll see that the Unicorn is guarded by three Minotaurs of the Grove. They will be leveled enemies and might carry weapons. You can slowly sneak and attack the minotaurs to fight them one by one, to make fighting the Unicorn easier.
The Unicorn is a tough enemy to fight since it's a level 17 enemy with a 50 percent resistance to magic and 20 percent reflect damage. It is also immune to normal weapons, poison, paralysis, and diseases. Its attack is like any other horse, but with a whopping 45 points of damage.
How To Get The Saviour's Hide
Once you've defeated the Unicorn, loot the Unicorn horn and return to the shrine. Interact with the shrine while you have the Unicorn horn in your inventory to complete the quest. Hircine will then reward you with the Daedric artifact Saviour's Hide.
The Saviour's Hide is a light armor cuirass that has an enchantment that gives you 25 resist magic on yourself. This is a great piece of armor to have when fighting mages since it reduces spell effects that hit you.
