Video games always have the coolest-looking items that never seem to exist in real life. Why can't we have potions that heal us from the ground up, huge buster swords, and magical powers that save the day from a world-ending apocalypse? If Geralt, Cloud, Kratos, and pretty much every other character can do it, why can't we? This is about all the alluring goodies, specifically in The Witcher 3.

This is all about the weapons and items we really wish we could try out in our everyday lives. Using a Witcher's sword is bound to make anyone feel like a fully-fledged monster hunter, but there are some items that would genuinely benefit how we live.

9 Books On The Worlds History

Many of you are probably guilty of completely ignoring the multiple hours of content placed within books because getting down to fighting the next enemy is what you really want to be doing. When you want something to fill your downtime, however, imagine how excellent reading lengthy books on The Witcher 3 universe would feel.

The closest you can currently get are licensed books like the title discussing everything about Gwent, but a series of novels on different aspects of The Witcher, like the politics, and races, would assuredly be a hit.

8 The Drinks

Whether you're into alcoholic beverages or not, you can't deny how tasty the portraits of these drinks look. You have the beer and mead favored among everyone, from dwarves to elves to humans; you can't go very far in this world without seeing someone with one of these in hand.

The wine is rarer to come by and used for special occasions, reflected in how you're more likely to loot beer than wine. For one, Toussaint wine is held in high esteem among the population – a classic red wine claimed to have an exquisite taste.

7 Monster Mutagens

How humans will apply mutagens to themselves is best left a mystery since a Witcher's life is said to be a painful and lonely one. Instead, ignore all that pain and think about how valuable the benefits of these monster mutagens are. Those providing sign bonuses wouldn't do anything for us, but the ones improving vitality could help with a whole array of things.

If you accidentally get a paper cut (and you know how much they suck), the additional vitality could technically heal that painful wound quicker.

6 Magic Lamp

The magic lamp emits a glowing blue light with an ornate bronze design partially covering the outside. It also happens to be able to see between the veil of life and death, allowing the user to see and somewhat interact with spirits. However, the usage is circumstantial, so it isn't guaranteed to work.

The lamp would give you a chance to speak or see past moments of those you've lost, as well as a variety of other historical uses that will let you directly experience the past.

5 Mask Of Uroboros

The Mask of Uroboros is almost an alternate version of the magic lamp, except instead of seeing spirits' pasts, you can see past moments of the living. The downside is that it's a one-time scenario, so once you've used it, there are no second chances, and you cannot use it a second time, no matter how hard you try.

Choosing the right moment to utilize this magical object will be a crucial task that'll put pressure on the owner, though at least in the moments leading up to that, you'll be in possession of an ancient tool.

4 Megascope

A Megascope is a magical device used for contacting people across long distances so long as both sides have one. Although we already have technology that allows us to video call and phone call others, what's the better option?

Is it to talk to others through a black rectangle that most of the Earth's population has, or is it to chat with your friends using a mystical item rarer than a pure diamond? There's no competition between the mundane phone and the crystal-powered object embued with magical energy.

3 Zireael Sword

Ciri's Witcher sword with the engraving "Zireael" is only seen in the ending, where Ciri survives The White Frost and decides to take up life as a Witcher. During the final mission, Geralt heads to a Blacksmith to collect this weapon and delivers it to Ciri, who is waiting in a local tavern.

Aside from a close-up shot of the sword, you never see this blade again, nor is it usable in the game. As a compromise, wouldn't it be exciting to have this glowing sword in real life to put on display and gush over whenever it's in your sight?

2 Witcher Swords And Armor

Witcher sword and armor sets are the best overall protection because of their bonuses when using those from the same school. If you have all Feline, Ursine, Wolvern, Viper, or any other set, you'll get a combat bonus for owning three pieces and six pieces of equipment.

Any of these items will be helpful for you for defense purposes and protection against the harsh weather, with a decked-out arsenal of armor and weapons. Not only that, but they're also stylish, with designs representative of each individual school. You'll look dashing in real life wearing these sets.

1 The Various Potions

Drinking a strange substance is a bad idea no matter the circumstances, though, with the Witcher potions, it might be a risk worth taking. There are a bunch of potions to make daily struggles easier. For one, Cat grants you sight in the darkness, which is a pretty perfect solution given the current price of electric bills.

Golden Oriole makes you immune to poisons which, lucky you, will save you a trip to the hospital if bitten by something poisonous. Swallow is for vitality regeneration, whereas Tawny Owl is for accelerated stamina regeneration. By drinking, you would have to deal with the drawbacks of potion toxicity or potentially even dying, but there's always a slim chance it might work.
