A Spanish Theme Park Is Building An Uncharted-Themed Attraction

Spanish amusement park PortAventura World is adding an Uncharted-themed ride in 2023. The announcement comes via a YouTube video on the theme park's official channel.
Spotted by VGC, the video’s description confirms that the ride will be a roller coaster. It reads, “In 2023, the world's first Uncharted dark ride roller coaster arrives at PortAventura World. A unique multidimensional ride. Are you ready for an unexpected adventure?”

HobbyConsolas also confirmed that this will be an indoor roller coaster, and it is well underway as the tracks have already been laid. A Twitter account also posted photos of the progress so far from which it looks like the ride is well on its way to being functional by 2023.
Interestingly, this will be the first time a PlayStation game is being turned into a theme park attraction. Uncharted is also the ideal choice for this considering the number of high-octane action scenes in both the game and the movie. An indoor roller coaster would be able to recreate the thrill of the adventure and would be a great addition to the park. Since Sony seems to be looking into theme park rides, turning the world of Horizon into one could be a great option as well.
We have seen a number of video-game attractions being added to theme parks all over the world in recent times. The biggest example would be the Super Nintendo World in Japan, which is literally a theme park based on popular Nintendo titles. We also know that there is another Super Nintendo World coming to Universal Studios in California which will open its doors in early 2023. As of now, a total of three Super Nintendo Worlds are under construction with the remaining two based in Singapore and Orlando.
Several other video game attractions also exist across the globe. For instance, a Mass Effect theatrical motion simulator ride currently exists at Great America in California. Other attractions at different parks include Gears of War, Plants vs. Zombies, Resident Evil, Sonic, and many more.
