This next crossover is up there with the best, though, as one Marvel Rivals player has shared their experience of playing the online hero shooter on their Nintendo 3DS.

On the Marvel Rivals subreddit, user PhxSunsFan shared an image of them playing NetEase and Marvel's incredibly popular, incredibly successful hero shooter on an old Nintendo 3DS.

PhxSunsFan achieved the feat by streaming their Steam Deck games through the Nintendo DS, an experience they called "not ideal".

While they didn't have a huge Marvel Rivals gaming session using their Nintendo 3DS, PhxSunsFan said, "I did jump into a quick play match to test it out, but the input lag was pretty bad. The firing range didn’t seem too bad, but there was still a noticeable delay. Still funny to see on the 3DS nonetheless!" Given the hardware specifications, that's not really a surprise.

Based on the image shared, Marvel Rivals' buttons map almost perfectly to the Nintendo 3DS, with just L3 and R3 being moved to the handheld's lower touchscreen.

It's unlikely those who got Storm and Rocket Racoon (despite PhxSunsFan seemingly using Rocket on the 3DS) to the top of the meta are using this method, but it's a great use of time, and we can't wait to see what the hero shooter is running on next.
