You do regenerate your health over time, but if your health gets too low, or you're bleeding, you need to use the tools available. Additionally, if you fail to heal and bleed out, you'll fail the mission and have to start over. So let's go over the healing options together, so you can keep fighting and complete each mission.

Every Healing Item And How To Use It

Healing in this game is actually quite simple. There aren't any over complicated health potions or several tiers of healing items ranging from basic to ultra.

Here you get two items to heal with when your health is low:

  • Med Kit - Restore's full health
  • Bandages - Restore's a small amount of health

You'll start each mission with one Med Kit and one Bandage, but you can also find them around the map in each mission or loot them from fallen enemies. In your inventory you have space for up to three Bandages, but you can only hold one Med Kit at a time.

In order to use either of these, you must first equip it. Open your radial menu (LB for Xbox, Q for PC), then select either the Med Kit or the Bandages.

Then, once equipped, hold down RB (Xbox) or F (PC) to heal.

Since the Bandages heal only a small portion of your health, depending on how low your health is, it may take two or three bandages to fully heal you, so make sure to keep an eye on your health.

What Skills Can Improve Healing?

As you perform tasks and complete missions, you'll earn XP and gain skill points to use to upgrade your skills. Some of these skills can either increase your health bar, or allow you to revive once when your health is fully depleted.

Here's a table that covers all the skills you can get that aid in your health and healing:
