In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance (and the original SMT 5), Talismans teach powerful Magatsuhi Skills to specific races of demon. These shouldn't be confused with Periapts, which teach Magatsuhi Skills that require specific party combinations.

Regardless, Talismans are still seriously useful. You'll really open up your options whenever that Magatsuhi Gauge is amped to the max with these things, so we've made a guide on where exactly you can find them. Bear in mind, a few select Talismans are route-exclusive; you can't get them all in one playthrough. You can, however, get most of them - so don't feel disheartened!

Every Talisman Location In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance

Generally speaking, Talismans can be obtained as rewards for side quests or through milestones in Miman collecting.

A handful of exceptions exist, but so long as you're keeping up with both of these categories, you'll be on track to catch 'em all.

Taito: Reward for 'The Holy Ring' Side Quest.

Minato: Reward for 'The Destined Leader' Side Quest.

Devil Talisman

  • World of Shadows:​​​​​​ Obtained automatically if playing the 'Godborn' New Game Plus mode.
  • Godborn is unlocked after completing 'The Great Adversary' Side Quest and then starting (yet another) New Game Plus file.
