Finding the runes requires standing in precise locations so that scenery elements line up when you Focus on them. The pieces are fairly easy to spot, since they're bright red and glow with glyphs when Senua is nearby; it's finding the right vantage point that can be tricky.

How To Enter The Draugr Village

At the beginning of Chapter Two, Senua and her captive Thorgestr will approach the destroyed village by its main entrance. Thorgestr warns against going in the front, so you'll need to follow the boardwalk to the right and loop around to a hidden entrance at the side of the barricade.

Don't forget to visit the Lorestangir on the hill to the right before approaching the village.

When you reach the boarded-up hole in the wall, interact with it to enter the ruins, leaving Thorgestr tied up outside. When you reach the village square, Zynbel's ghost will block the way, starting the puzzle.

How To Find The Center Rune In The Draugr Village

Once the path is blocked, turn around and head back the way you came. Look to your right for a crucified body similar to the one blocking your way; it will be bright red and you'll see the rune in the air as you approach. Use Focus and position the camera so that the rune perfectly aligns with the crucifix.

How To Find The Left Rune In The Draugr Village

Return to the shadow barrier and go left, walking around the large house to an entrance at the back. Inside, climb the ladder to your right. This leads to a storage platform outside. From there, use Focus to line up the bloody red planks, forming the second rune.

How To Find The Right Rune In The Draugr Village

Hop down from the platform and look for a bloody pole across the street. Nearby is a house on a small hill; go through the house and out the back door. Follow the path up and over a ledge. Just before you can drop back down to the main area, you'll be able to Focus on the bloody pole and see the final rune overlaid on it.
