Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios transports visiting guests to the world of Nintendo, specifically the Mario world. Here, visitors can race against Bowser’s minions, dine at the Toadstool Café, and enjoy interacting with the many Mario-centric items and events hidden around the park.

However, Nintendo has a lot more to offer than just their iconic red-capped hero. Hypothetically speaking, the park could have add-ons from all of the company's projects. And with Nintendo crossovers comes epic rides - the possibilities are endless. But, for the sake of time, here are our top choices for Nintendo ride adaptions we want to see in Super Nintendo World.

10 Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Ride

Did you know that Luigi’s Mansion is not only an exclusive Nintendo title, but also an arcade game? Luigi’s Mansion Arcade is a light gun shooter that lets you take on ghosts with your very own Poltergust 5000. Now, imagine that, but it's a dark, on-rails shooter in Super Nintendo World.

Similar to Toy Story Midway Mania in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you’ll be seated in a car modeled after one of Professor E. Gadd’s inventions and use your Poltergust to suck up any pesky ghouls or loose coin that comes your way. But watch out! Some spooky and scary surprises might jump at you as you ride.

9 Link’s Crossbow Training: Dark Ride

There have been many Legend of Zelda games over the years. Unfortunately, some have been unintentionally forgotten. And one of these misremembered games is the 2007 Wii game, Link’s Crossbow Training. Using the assets from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Link's Crossbow Training had you shooting targets rather than saving princesses.

Just like Luigi’s Mansion Arcade, Link’s Crossbow Training can easily be adapted into an on-rails shooter. Park visitors can strap into a Legend of Zelda-inspired, Epona-like cart, take aim, and fire at moving objects. Perhaps, for each projection screen that the ride stops at, a different Zelda game can be displayed. Like Wind Waker or even Minish Cap.

8 Animal Crossing: VR Adventure

You might be wondering how Animal Crossing can turn into a Super Nintendo World ride. It can be done, so long as it becomes a VR experience and borrows elements from Animal Crossing: Sweet Day, a minigame that first appeared in Nintendo Land for the Wii U. And like that game, this real-life interpretation will pit a team of candy collectors against a team of Gatekeepers.

A mash-up of a scavenger hunt and hide-and-seek, the candy collectors win if they can collect a certain number of sweets, and the Gatekeepers win if they can catch all their opponents. It might be a bit chaotic to do but, with enough room and headsets, it will certainly be a hit.

7 Donkey Kong: Bumper Cars

Remember when Donkey Kong had a platforming game that came with bongos? And, in order to make DK move, attack, and jump, you had to play those bongos like... bongos? Super Nintendo World should use that tropical source material and bring back these hand drums in a ride where everyone can smack them: bumper cars.

Once everyone is seated in this ride's cars (fittingly modeled after DK barrels), guests will have to drive, bump into others, and escape opposing players all while playing the drums. It's a weird idea, but then again, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat was a weird game.

6 Super Mario Sunshine: Rollercoaster

Every park needs a thrill ride, and what’s more thrilling than the ride you took in Super Mario Sunshine’s Pinna Park? Pinna Park’s rollercoaster had everything: twists, turns, a giant robotic Bowser you had to defeat using water rockets, and a Shine Sprite reward if you did a good job.

For Super Nintendo World, the designers can take inspiration from the layout of Pinna Park's track and add visual details from Super Mario Sunshine, such as the game’s tropical and beachy atmosphere. Of course, they’ll have to leave out the fire-spewing Bowser mech. That would just be bad for business.

5 The Legend Of Zelda: Paragliding

Have you ever wondered how paragliding from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might feel in real life? What would it be like to have the wind in your hair and your feet dangling from high off the ground? In this hypothetical ride, you won’t have to wonder any longer.

Taking inspiration from Disney's Soarin’ and Flight of Passage, a Legend of Zelda Paragliding ride can have you fly over the beautiful and dangerous world of Hyrule. Every scene change, done by a very well-placed cloud, will transport you to a different region in the land. From the magical Zora’s Domain to the sandy Gerudo Desert, this tour will take you everywhere. All without depleting your Stamina wheel.

4 Splatoon: Flume Ride

What does Universal Studios need more of? Water rides! And what does Splatoon have? A heck of a lot of liquid! In this water ride, you’ll be sailing through colorful Turf Wars from several different Splatoon stages. Ensure you wear your waterproof poncho, otherwise, a charged-up Inkling or Octoling will splash you with their Special attack.

Additionally, while you’re sailing through these battles, you’ll be serenaded by songs heard throughout the series. And of course, in the final minute of the ride, you’ll listen to the Splatoon classic, Now or Never!, and be treated to an extreme drop at the song’s last note. Talk about a finale.

3 Kirby’s Dessert Buffet: Racing

How do you combine the rush of sugar with the rush of racing? Simple, by building a Kirby’s Dessert Buffet-inspired slot car ride. Similar to Radiator Springs Racers from Disney California Adventure, you will first be seated in a Kirby-themed, Mouthful Mode car before being driven through a track covered in whipped cream, chocolate, and other delicious desserts.

You'll drive through this candied paradise, enjoy snapshots of Kirby and his friends dining on sweet treats and defeating baddies, and then, at the very end, you’ll race another Kirby car to the finish line. Hopefully, your car will emerge victorious and gain the ultimate first-place prize: a winning photo that you'll have to pay for.

2 Pikmin: Drop Tower

Pikmin is a series about exploring the unknown, collecting treasures to pay off your massive debt, gathering resources to make sure your home planet doesn’t die of starvation, and most importantly, surviving to work another day. This is why the spaceship blast-off sequence, played after the sun goes down, is so important. Now, what if you took that iconic rocket launch and turned it into an exclusive, Super Nintendo World drop tower ride?

A Pikmin-themed drop tower can have seats fashioned to look like either the spaceships or the Onions from the series, and can have a picture of Pikmin Planet painted on the ground of the ride. The ride can also stutter up and down, signifying that the spacecrafts are struggling to get into orbit and reminding all passengers that they should hold onto their seats as they blast off.

1 Super Smash Brothers: Ferris Wheel

As the sun sets and the park enters its closing time, why not end your perfect Super Nintendo World trip with a breathtaking, Universal view? The park's last addition to its video game-themed land should be a relaxing Ferris wheel ride. But not just any Ferris wheel - a Super Smash Brothers-themed one.

Each passenger's car can be modeled after a Smash Brothers hero or villain and can have Easter eggs hidden in their respective spaces. Not only will you get to see the entire Universal Studios from the safety of your customized compartment, but you will also get the chance to rest your feet for about twenty minutes. How’s that for relaxation?
