There are a lot of different aspects to Sun Haven that make it the great game that it is. The Action RPG element added to a calming farming game make those who like a little more of a challenge happy. Keepsakes are part of that aspect. You can acquire multiple different Keepsakes in the game, all of which give you added buffs.

Keepsakes offer different benefits depending on which one you get. Some are given to you by chance while others you need to work hard to acquire. They can help you get more XP when farming, extra money while selling, or even tons more of permanent health. This guide will detail how to get every single Keepsake and what they do for you.

Introduction Keepsakes

Don't skip the introduction if you want to choose your starting keepsake! While your character is talking to Lynn on the train, during the introduction sequence, she will ask you what you are looking for in your travels to Sun Haven. It may seem like casual dialogue, but the answer you choose actually determines your main Keepsake for the entire game.

Even if you make a new character and have already seen the introduction, it is beneficial to play through it again and try a different Keepsake through this dialogue.

Though you can only choose one Keepsake in the introduction, you can actually buy the others in-game. Different vendors will sell the remaining introduction Keepsakes. If you end up skipping the introduction, have no fear because there is actually a secret Keepsake players get if they skip it altogether.

To pick the right Keepsake, all you have to do is select the dialogue option that has the title of the Keepsake. By convenience, they are titled exactly as your dialogue options say, whether you declare you wish for peace or wish for romance.

Find the remaining introduction Keepsakes by speaking to different merchants around the world. Some merchants show up in rotation to the left of Town Hall in Sun Haven, while other merchants must be found in other towns.

Romance Keepsakes

There is another set of Keepsakes in the game. These come from your significant other or soon-to-be lover. After winning the trust of whatever NPC you are interested in, you have the abilityto purchase their unique Keepsake from Bernard at Town Hall.

You do not actually have to commit to romancing an NPC to acquire their Keepsake, you just have to get enough hearts out of their relationship to unlock the ability.

Once you are close enough to a potential romance option of your choice, you can either progress with them in order for them to give you the Keepsake personally, or you can purchase it from Town Hall. The choice is yours.

Romance Keepsakes, acquired from leveling up friendships of NPCs, offer an exceedingly larger array of benefits and buffs compared to the initial introduction Keepsakes.
