2024 has been a great year for good games so far. Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth two game of the year candidates releasing in the first two months of the year. Not every big game released has been as warmly received as those two highly-anticipated RPGs, though. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League wasn't celebrated in the same way as Rocksteady's prior DC offerings. So much so that a little more than a month on from its arrival, you can already pick it up for significantly less.

Kill The Justice League received the industry standard $70 price tag at launch. Expected due to the combination of the studio it was coming from, the amount of work that went into it, and the DC license attached. However, there's no question that the lofty asking price contributed to Suicide Squad not performing as well as expected. Perhaps now you can get the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for just $50 on Amazon, more people will be willing to take the plunge.

The price of Kill The Justice League appears to have been gradually dropping on Amazon since launch, rarely returning to its standard $70 asking price. However, this is the steepest drop yet, and it's hard to imagine it'll be available for less than $50 for a while. Maybe during a Prime Day or some other sale, but if you've been holding out on exploring Metropolis with Harley Quinn and Deadshot hoping the price would drop, now is the best time to cash in.

Suicide Squad's price cut may have come in preparation for the game's first season. Introducing the Joker, season one has been confirmed to begin on March 28. Buy Kill The Justice League for less now, that gives you plenty of time to play through its relatively short story before the first season begins at the end of the month. As for how long you've got to get Kill The Justice League for $50, Amazon describes it as a "limited time deal" but doesn't give an exact end date.

Kill The Justice League isn't the only big budget game released this year to have already gone on sale. Skull And Bones was briefly available for $45 at Best Buy this week, although it quickly returned to full price. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is also down to $30 at Best Buy. Objectively the best of those three games, but poor sales have likely forced Ubisoft's hand, hence it already being available for so little.
