You probably remember a lot of funny scenes, and that's not a stretch from a game featuring a goat man. But the best scenes in this game aren't all happy, and some were even difficult to watch. From comedic to tragic, these scenes are the best and most memorable in the game.

10 Calliope's Audition
There's no denying that the duet between Grace and Calliope easily makes it into one of the best songs in the game, but it's also a scene to marvel at. Calliope's unexpected and unplanned performance blending into Grace's impromptu song can leave you silently awestruck.
The only shame is that there won't be a second time for this duo. But then, this scene wouldn't be one of the best if Calliope and Grace had the chance to compose music and tour around in a band as Hecate's book predicted.
9 Freddie and Pan's Forced Duet
In "I Can Teach You," Pan and Freddie obviously disliked each other and hoped that Grace would choose one of them over the other. In one of the options, you can select both of them to duet in front of you on stage, and they'll end up singing a random tune.

That's the power of a muse—to draw the truth out of people through music. They both feel embarrassed after that, but at least you know that they only want to be a little silly while helping you navigate Grace's newfound power.
8 Defeating Persephone in Her Own Turf
Persephone hasn't been the most approachable character in the game. It's obvious that she's holding onto anger for deeper reasons and that she's frustrated over Calliope's death. That doesn't excuse how she's always up for a fight, even if it means starting one with somebody not asking for it.
Regardless of what you feel for her, defeating Persephone in the Underworld feels empowering. You've humbled the Queen of the Underworld and likely earned her respect in the process, regardless of how you decide to end your performance with her.
7 Persephone Going Soft for Grace
If you have a soft spot for the Queen of the Underworld, you'll know that Persephone's character has a lot of warmth beneath all that anger. After reclaiming the Underworld and defying all the odds, Persephone acknowledges you as her Queen as you both bask under the afternoon sun.

Romancing Persephone isn't easy; you'll find she's not the most emotionally available. Whether Grace and Persephone's romance is going to end terribly is beyond your prediction, but they have eternity to figure that out while navigating the new world.
6 Confronting Medusa
Every god out there warned you that Medusa was a monster. You confront Medusa, and she's definitely a dangerous creature. She turns people into stone and eats them, and she's not opposed to eating other immortals, either, even if they're more resistant to her kind of magic.
But the most striking part about your confrontation with her is that when she was about to leave, she hoped to sing a "different song" with Grace in the future. With respect to the term "monster," she's become one, but not entirely of her own choice. Seeing her plead for her life and wish for better interaction with Grace in the future proves that she's just a person thrown in a cursed and troubled path.
5 Reclaiming the Underworld's Throne
Hearing Orpheus and Persephone's fight over the throne was amusing. Orpheus also had resentment in him, but he was generally funnier and held onto a crumbling throne while Persephone was away. Persephone, on the other hand, just told Orpheus that she was going to reclaim the throne.

Seeing them come to an understanding that both were victims of Hades is comforting, but smashing the throne into smithereens in the heat of the moment is a shocking move from Grace. Destroying the object of Persephone's desire for centuries is a gutsy move, and the only thing that beats it is claiming the throne for yourself.
4 Asterion's Confession
Nothing could beat Asterion saying "You put a spell on me... but not literally," to Hecate, then fumbling over his words even further. It's a clumsy attempt at a confession, but it's what makes the gesture heartfelt. The icing on the cake was Hecate's surprise over Asterion's feelings and her acceptance of his proposal.
You've never envisioned the Minotaur being an adorable, stuttering mess around Hecate when his Greek mythology counterpart had a sinister story. But for now, you can pretend that Asterion's just an awkward Minotaur awfully love-struck by Hecate.
3 Convincing Aphrodite To Live
There's nothing more unsettling than hearing the goddess of love, the symbol of beauty, get torn down by war-hungry people and gods. The crimes committed against her were unspeakable, and she has nightmares over the years of captivity she was subjected to. She lost loved ones, with some even dying for her sake.

It's powerful to convince Aphrodite to live, especially after everything she's been through. She deserves to heal from her trauma, and seeing her choosing to do so and be surrounded by her loved ones is feeling the warmth of light at the end of the tunnel.
2 The Idols Uniting for Grace
Nothing could feel more empowering than having all the Idols stand up for Grace after all the hard work you've done. You've finally been accepted into their fold while solving a murder mystery you were thrust into. The circumstances leading up to this moment were grim, and you've lost some on the way.
It's all because of somebody's dedication to preserving rules that no longer serve anybody, not even the Idols themselves. But even if the highlight of this scene is having all the Idols go against Athena, you'd feel some sympathy for Athena herself even if she's done terrible things. She believed that she had to do these terrible acts for the gods to live on and chose to carry the entire Greek Pantheon on her shoulders, even if it meant becoming reviled.
1 Bringing Freddie Back to Life
Regardless of whether you see Freddie as a romance option or as Grace's best friend, she's definitely a likable character who loves Grace. She always had Grace's back and died taking a knife for Grace. Her lively spirit and importance in Grace's life make it difficult to move on from her.
Luckily, you don't have to move on and could choose to bring Freddie back to life. Doing so will give you the privilege of witnessing a redemption of tragedy where love conquers and wins against all odds.
