New Game Plus is one of the best concepts in video games, allowing you to replay some of your favorite games with all the gear and items you've collected during your first playthrough. Whether you're looking for casual fun or a greater challenge on a higher difficulty level, New Game Plus has you covered. However, not all games introduce new features in their New Game Plus mode.

PostsWhile we weren't sure when Stellar Blade New Game Plus would be released, it was introduced at launch. If you find that the game isn't long enough for you and you're craving more, then New Game Plus is exactly what you need. This guide will provide you with everything you need to know about it.
What Carries Over In New Game Plus?
CloseNew Game Plus functions similarly to other games in Stellar Blade. To unlock it, you first need to complete the game at any difficulty level. Doing so will unlock not only New Game Plus but also Hard Mode.
At the start menu, you'll find the option for New Game +, which allows you to start using the save file of your completed game. Fortunately, you'll retain most of your items, including:
- All your equipment from Exospines and Gear
- Gold
- Useful items like ammo, health potions and upgrade materials
- Eve skills
- Drone Upgrades
- Nano suits
- Collected Cans
- Any owned SP you haven't used will carry over.
All of these will be available to you right from the beginning of the game in NG+.
What Unlocks With New Game Plus?
CloseWhile not every game adds new content to their New Game Plus mode, Stellar Blade ensures you have plenty of new discoveries awaiting you in your second playthrough. Although the game doesn't explicitly mention this, it introduces a plethora of new items and equipment for Eve.
Firstly, if you've exhausted the variety of outfits collected in your initial playthrough, fear not! In New Game Plus, you'll have the opportunity to acquire a plethora of new Nano suits for Eve, allowing her to maintain her stylish appearance during combat.
Additionally, New Game Plus introduces new skills for both Eve and her drone. For example, these new Eve skills enhance her existing Beta skills, making her moves even more powerful, while Drone upgrades focus on enhancing their effectiveness in combat.
For those daring enough to tackle Hard Mode in New Game Plus, the game offers upgraded versions of Eve's equipment labeled Mk2. These items boast superior stats to aid you in managing the increased difficulty.
Furthermore, the Repair Console unlocks the ability to further enhance your Weapon Power Attack and Tumbler Effectiveness beyond what was possible in the base game.
In addition to these enhancements, you'll have the opportunity to further upgrade your Health and Beta meters. However, this time around, each enhancement will require four cores instead of three, providing an additional layer of challenge and progression.
