Steam Decks Are Up To 20 Percent Off To Celebrate Steam's 20th Anniversary

Just like every other console released in the last three years, Steam Decks were very hard to find not so long ago. Not only are Steam's handheld PCs now readily available, they're selling for cheaper than they usually do. That's because Steam has slashed the prices of all three models of its Deck to celebrate its storefront turning 20. Steam Decks are currently up to 20 percent cheaper than they usually are, saving you as much as $130 depending on the model you buy.
It's the 512GB model that has been dealt the heaviest price cut. Usually retailing for $649, which is a lot of money for any console, you can currently get it for just $519.20. If that's still a little more than you're looking to spend on a Steam Deck, and you don't need that much storage space, the 256GB model has had its price reduced from $529 to $449.65. Finally, the smallest Steam Deck, the 64GB model, is $359.10 instead of the usual $399. That's 20, 15, and ten percent off the respective models. The Deck is also reduced right now.

Steam Decks have already been selling for a lower price for a few days, but you still have a few more days to take advantage of the price cut if you have been on the fence about picking one up. The consoles will remain on sale until September 21, at which point they will return to full price. Also, the best time to buy one if you're planning on getting someone a lavish gift for the holidays. While this isn't the first time Steam has reduced the price of its Decks, there's no guarantee they'll be available for less again before the end of 2023.

If you already own a Steam Deck but you're looking for something new to play on it, there are plenty of games heavily reduced alongside the consoles as a part of Steam's 20th-anniversary celebrations right now. Topping the pile right now is Mass Effect Legendary Edition which is 80 percent off. That's $11.99 for three of the best games ever. No, the trilogy isn't Steam Deck Verified, but it is listed as playable which should mean you don't run into too many issues.
