Continuing to learn more about the sample is your goal, and to do that, you'll need to find Dr. Percival Walker. The problem is that he's not exactly available, and finding another specialist is out of the question. You'll have to find a way to reach him to learn more about the Terrormorph sample.

Ask About Percival In Cydonia

Head to Cydonia on Mars to ask about Dr. Percival Walker's location. You'll need to go to the Trade Authority to get any information.

Speak to Oktai Enbayar to learn that Walker has been missing for quite some time and has accumulated a good deal of debt.

While he doesn't offer much else that can help, make your way down to the Sixth Circle bar to ask around.

How To Pay Percival's Debt

You'll be met with a frosting greeting, as the Red Devils are a tight-knit pack of miners that are hiding Percival Walker. Talk to the bartender, Lou, to learn that you won't find Walker until the debt is paid.

Thankfully, there are several ways you can pay off the debt.

How To Pay The Debt Yourself

The most direct way to handle things is to pay off the debt yourself. Return to Oktai Enbayar to discuss the payment.

Paying the debt yourself will cost 21,867 credits exactly, and you'll have to pay in full. If you don't have the funds, you can work for them.

How To Hack The Computer

Alternatively, as Lou tells you, he'd be happy to pay off a reasonable debt. That can be done by hacking into the Trade Authority computer and reducing the total to a much smaller number.

You'll either need to steal the key from Oktai or pick the lock to access the computer room above. From there, you can override the account total to a few hundred credits instead.

How To Kill The Lead Spacer

Another option to pay the debt takes a lot longer, but it's well worth the effort. Cambridge Cooper will call you over after talking to Lou and offer a better deal for everyone.

All you have to do is eliminate some Spacers, finish some research, and deliver it to the Trade Authority to pay off the debt. Sounds simple enough, and the rewards are pretty good, too.

Head on out to the Deep Mines and clear the facility of Spacers. You'll have to wind your way down through the mines to eliminate them all and reach the research lab. There are several layers to work through, and it will take a bit of time.

Once you do, interact with the intercom so that Cambridge can give you instructions on how to complete the research.

How To Finish The Research

To finish the research, you'll need to do the following:

  • Collect a sample of Aqueous Hematite.
  • Throw the sample into the thresher.
  • Wait and collect the data.

You'll need the use Ares2330 as the passcode. Once the data is ready, take the key from the thresher room to activate the elevator.

Meet back at the Sixth Circle to collect all the research before taking it to Oktai Enbayar. He's all too excited to wipe away the debt for the promise of the research.

You can convince Oktai to give you extra credits on the side, too.

How To Find Percival

Once you've paid off the debt, return to Lou. He'll tell you that Percival's been hiding down in the Deep Mines and give you the key to access the way.

Make for the Deep Mines and work your way down to the lab. If you helped Cambridge Cooper earlier, this will be a quick trip. Otherwise, be prepared to fight off Spacers on the way down.

Once you reach the lab, use the key from Lou to access the Drill Waste Room and progress deeper into the mines.

Make sure to grab any Aqueous Hematite on the way down if you want to stock up on resources.

You'll find Percival holed up at a massive underground base, waiting for you just outside. Give him the Terrormorph sample to examine, and he'll find some rather concerning markers in it.

Take Percival to meet Hadrian at the Sixth Circle to discuss your findings.

Meet Hadrian At The Sixth Circle

Make your way back to Cydonia and meet Hadrian outside the bar. She'll usher you all into a private back room to discuss what happened.

After your discussion, you'll come to the conclusion that you need access to the Armistice Archives to go over the research done on Terrormorphs. For now, though, this quest is over, and you can begin the next chapter in the UC Vanguard line.
