Starfield has been available in early access for those who bought the premium pass. Tomorrow, it 'fully' launches on Xbox Game Pass for everybody else, but plenty have already beaten the main quest and rolled credits before plunging into NG+.

According to True Achievements, 909 players have unlocked 'One Giant Leap', which you get for completing the final quest. Many more are set to join them. As of writing, 1,300 players have beaten the penultimate quest 'Unearthed'. Just three quests behind, 'High Price to Pay' has been completed by 3,190 players. Bethesda stories aren't that long, so the number could shoot up by the time Starfield launches if they don't all get distracted.

Another hugely impressive feat, or worrying one - depending on your perspective - is that 33 players have visited every single star system. 31 have also landed on 100 of the 1,000 planets. In a week, I doubt they've seen much of them, but hey, enjoy mapping the Settled Systems. Luckily, there isn't an achievement to visit all of the planets in Starfield.

It's clear that some people have played non-stop since Starfield's early access opened up, evident by the fact that 118 players have already reached level 100. For comparison, 34,672 hit level ten, while a significantly lower chunk of players - 2,873 - got to level 25. In my experience, rushing both the main quest and the entirety of the Crimson Fleet faction story only brought me to level 20, so god knows how people are getting five times that already.

Starfield is huge. While not all 1,000 planets are interesting or even worth visiting, it's a Bethesda RPG, which means there are a lot of quests, a lot of factions with their own 'main' story-style campaigns, and plenty of side hustles to get involved in like building outposts and ships.

You can rush the main story if you want, but there are a lot of other things to see before you bring on NG+. As of writing, over 15,000 have joined up with the UC Vanguard, 9,466 have signed on with the Freestar Rangers, 6,555 have been employed at Ryujin Industries, and 6,309 have put on their pirate hats and joined the Crimson Fleet.

Others have been busy making their own home in the galaxy, as 26,353 have built at least one outpost. 85 have taken that a step further and built five, which they've connected together with cargo links. But only ten have gathered 500 organic resources. It looks like most of us are questing or exploring to find ancient superpowers.
