Stardew Valley: How To Complete The Introductions Quest

Stardew Valley is filled with unique NPCs that you can befriend and form relationships with. Many of these people will be available to talk to from the very first day, however, there are a few that take a while to meet.

Stardew Valley: Every Main Character’s Age, Height, And Birthday

Stardew Valley delivers farming mechanics and romance options galore. Find out some trivia about every character in the wonderful Indie darling.

One of your first tasks will be to go around the valley and introduce yourself to 28 residents. Knowing who to talk to can be a bit tricky, so in this guide, we are going to go over every NPC you will need to speak to for this quest, as well as where you can find them. First, let's look at the residents that you can find in Pelican Town.

Pierre's General Store

On most days, Abigail stays home until 1pm.

Alex

To the right of the General Store

Alex leaves his home every day in the Spring at 8am and then stands next to the house the rest of the afternoon (excluding Wednesdays).

Caroline

Pierre's General Store

Caroline stays near the General Store most of the time, but will stand in the square with Jodi a few times throughout the week.

Clint

Blacksmith

The far right side of Pelican Town

During the day, Clint is in the Blacksmith Shop.

Emily

2 Willow Lane

The bottom lefthand side of town

Emily works at the Stardrop Saloon, and is there nearly every night.

Evelyn

1 River Road

To the right of the General Store

A majority of the time, Evelyn is at home in the kitchen.

George

1 River Road

To the right of the General Store

George is either always home, or sitting outside his home.

Gus

Stardrop Saloon

Center of town

As the owner of the Stardrop Saloon, he is here every day.

Haley

2 Willow Lane

The bottom lefthand side of town

From around noon to 4pm every day (except Mondays), Haley can be found standing at the fountain near the Community Center.

Harvey

Medical Clinic

Next to General Store

In the morning on most days, Harvey can be found within the clinic. He can be a bit evasive, so you can head to the General Store on Friday at noon, as he is shopping at this time.

Jodi

Jodi spends most mornings at home.

Lewis

Mayor's Manor

Left of the Saloon

Lewis moves around a lot, but he returns home by around 4:30pm every day (except Fridays, when he is at the saloon).

Pam is at the saloon every night.

Penny

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, Penny is at the Museum from 9am to 2pm.

Most mornings, Sam sleeps in late and stays home for a bit before heading out.

Leah's Cottage

Leah's cottage will be locked at first, but every Monday at 11am, she will be at the General Store. In this case, you may just need to stand outside her house and wait for her to enter/leave.

Marnie

Marnie's Ranch

Every day (excluding Monday and Tuesday), Marnie will be at the counter of her store.

Shane

Marnie's Ranch

Shane is at the saloon every night (except Sunday).

You may notice that the Wizard is not included in the resident list for the Cindersap Forest. To complete the Introduction quest, you are not required to speak to the Wizard.

Elliot's house is locked, but he can be found on the beach most of the time, as well as at the saloon every Friday and Sunday.

On the second day of spring, Willy will send you mail, inviting you to his Fish Shop. Because of this, you won't need to seek him out.

Most mornings, Demetrius is in his home lab.

Linus

Tent

Linus returns to his tent every day at 7pm, and is usually found in the vicinity.

Maru

Maru is in the lab most days (except Tuesday and Thursday, when she works at the clinic).

Robin

24 Mountain Road

Robin is working at the Carpenter's shop every day (except Tuesday).

Sebastian

Sebastian wakes up quite late, but since his door is locked at first, you can wait inside the main portion of the house.
