Get A Deluxe Barn
First, you need toconstruct a Deluxe Barn on your farm. This barn serves as shelter for various livestock animals, including the sheep you’ll need to obtain cloth.
The Deluxe Barn is the third and final barn you can unlock from Robin at her Carpenter's Shop in the northeast part of Stardew Valley. To build it, you'll need:
- 3,000 gold
- 1350 wood
- 650 stone
Obtain And Raise Sheep
With the Deluxe Barn is in place, it's time to head over to Marnie's Ranch in the south part of Stardew Valley and acquire a sheep for 8,000 gold. She is usually present at the shop from 9am to 4pm daily.
You have the flexibility to choose the number of sheep you wish to raise, which can directly impact your cloth production. The more sheep, the more cloth.
Remember, happy sheep make the most baa-rilliant suppliers of wool for your cloth-making endeavors. So, be sure to pamper them with daily hay and affection. Additionally, allowing them to graze outdoors during the daytime contributes to their happiness.
Sheep produce wool every few days after they reach adult age, which they reach in four in-game days. You can collect their wool by using a pair of shears obtained from Marnie’s Ranch.
You can also employ an auto-grabber, which conveniently takes care of shearing every sheep inside your barn automatically.
Once you've gathered a sufficient amount of wool, it's time to process it into cloth.

You can strike a deal with the Desert Trader every Westatic.aayyy.com/topic/dn/esday, trading three aquamarines in exchange for one precious piece of cloth.

While this method is effective, aquamarines are relatively scarce in the game, and the effort may not always be worth it. If you opt for this approach however, look for aquamarines on mine floors 40 and below.
Kill Mummies
You can also obtain cloth as a drop from defeated mummies. They have a 20 percent chance of dropping cloth when slain.
Mummies are a unique enemy type found deep within the Skull Cavern. They may initially appear to be a bit of a challenge, as after being knocked down, they have a peculiar tendency to get back up after ten seconds. However, a clever farmer can take down a mummy with a well-placed bomb while it's downed.
An efficient strategy here is to aim for a group several Mummies together, ideally in an area with dense clusters of rocks, and then deploy a single bomb to deal with them all at once. You'll be drowning in cloth in no time.
