There is an overwhelming amount of content in Stardew Valley, but it is possible to get 100 percent completion, or perfection, as it's referred to in the game. With the 1.5 update, we were given a way to track our progress, as well as some rewards for reaching that top milestone. In this guide, we are going to go over everything you need to do to achieve 100 percent perfection.

In Stardew Valley, Grandpa's Evaluation is an event that surveys how well you've done on the farm. Here, you can learn how to pass this test.
PostsFirst, let's take a look at how to access the perfection tracker. Remember, this guide is for late-game content, so if you have yet to finish the Community Center, this will contain spoilers!
Updated April 3, 2024 by Jacqueline Zalace: Achieving 100 percent perfection is a long-term goal, but we can make it easier for you. We've updated the formatting of this guide, as well as added new items that were added to the game with the 1.6 update of Stardew Valley.
How To Track Perfection
via Mist of Majora/SteamTo track your progress towards completion in the game, you will first need to unlock the Walnut Room. This means that prior to unlocking the Walnut Room on Ginger Island, you will not be able to track your perfection progress in-game, unless you keep your own notes.
To unlock the Walnut Room, you will need to collect at least 100 golden walnuts. These can be found scattered around the island. Once you have collected 100 golden walnuts, head to the west side of the island.
Above Birdie's Shack, you will find a purple door with a walnut on it. This is Qi's Walnut Room. After you enter, you will be able to take on special orders, see some items for exchange, and view your perfection tracker. The tracker will list all the perfection goals, along with a total completion percentage.
What Is A Perfection Waiver?
Perfection Waivers are a great way to bypass some of the requirements if you have enough money. After completing the main story and visiting Ginger Island, Joja employee Fizz will reach out to you.
After completing a short little quest to find him, you can spend a whopping 500,000g on a Perfection Waiver to get one percent added to your perfection tracker. This definitely isn't budget-friendly, but it's an easy way to reach perfection if you are a Stardew Valley veteran.

via psousa/SteamThere are81 recipes in the game, and you need to cook all of them. Recipes can be learned in a few different ways.
First, you can watch The Queen of Sauce every Sunday for a chance to learn a new recipe. If you missed an episode, you can catch the rerun of a Sunday episode the following Wednesday.
Recipes can also be learned from villagers. As you increase your friendship with the villagers, they may send you various recipes in the mail. Since reaching maximum friendship with villagers is a requirement for perfection, this is a handy way to learn recipes.
Some recipes are available for purchase as well. Check the Stardrop Saloon to learn any available recipes.
Craft All Items
via chiibaKing/SteamIn addition to cooking every dish, you will need to craft every item. These items can be made from the crafting panel of the menu. There are a few different ways to obtain new crafting recipes, so let's take a look at them.
- Leveling Up Skills
- Purchasing from Robin, Krobus, Dwarf, and Mr. Qi
- Purchasing from Special Events
- Completing Special Orders
Overall, there are 130 recipes. This is a lot, but you don't need to use or display every item, just make them.
Catch All Fish
Fishing can be quite difficult, but you will need to catch all fish in the game for 100 percent completion. This includes all common fish, as well as the five Legendary fish. You can check out this guide on fishing for more information.

via GoodJobGarryLastly, you will need to find all Golden Walnuts. In total, there are 130 that can be found on Ginger Island.
As mentioned earlier, you will need 100 Golden Walnuts to unlock Qi's Walnut Room. This means that once you unlock the room, you will need 30 more walnuts.
Multiplayer
via Melinda/SteamPerfect works a bit differently in multiplayer. Well, the perfection tracker at least. Since there is more than one person working towards this end goal, the perfection tracker still tracks perfection but not in the same way.
If you check the tracker, it'll display the highest number in a certain category according to the player that is closest to finishing that category. This means that not all players have to complete each category.
The game doesn't sum up the player's scores, therefore you can't cook half of the recipes available and have another player cook the other half to complete the cooking task. The only exception to this is the Golden Walnuts task on Ginger Island since they're a shared item for all players.
In multiplayer mode, you will also need to craft one additional item, the Wedding Ring. This is a ring that allows a player to propose to another player. The recipe for the Wedding Ring is sold by the Traveling Merchant, and to craft it, you will need the following materials.
- 1x Prismatic Shard
- 1x Iridium Bar
Even if you don't plan on marrying while in multiplayer mode, you will still need to craft his item.
This recipe is unattainable in the single-player game mode.
Rewards For 100% Completion
via LUVITY/SteamAfter finishing all of these requirements, you have achieved 100 percent perfection! When you do this, a few things will happen. The morning after Perfection, you receive the following message.
You feel it in your heart: somewhere, somehow... Grandpa is beaming with pride. The legacy of (your farm's name) is eternal.
With perfection achieved, you will receive the following.
- Access to The Summit
- Statue of True Perfection
- Golden Chickens
- ??? Hat
The Summit
Above, you can see a player sitting at the edge of the Summit. This is an area that you can access on the left side of the Railroad area.
If you are married, your spouse will be here the first time you visit. If you aren't married, either Mayor Lewis or Morris will appear (depending on which route you choose for the Community Center).
Credits here will show almost all of the villagers, animals, fish, and monsters, and you will be congratulated on your accomplishment. Overall, it's a feel-good moment that will leave you smiling.
Statue of True Perfection
via Tiexandrea/SteamThe Statue of True Perfection is a small statue made of pure Iridium that will give you one Prismatic Shard a day. It is shaped like a purple bear holding a heart.
You can sell these shards, or give them to villagers around town. Since you have already achieved 100 percent perfection, you don't need to raise your relationship with NPCs, so feel free to sell or craft with Prismatic Shards to your heart's content.
Golden Chickens
via MissDefi/SteamWith 100 percent perfection, you will also unlock golden chickens. These special chickens lay golden eggs that have a base price of 500g. To get your first golden egg, you can purchase one from Marnie for 100,000g or for 100 Qi Gems in the Walnut Room.
Alternatively, the witch may fly over your farm and place one in your coop. Placing a golden egg in a mayonnaise machine will produce three gold-quality mayonnaise.
??? Hat
Finally, you will be able to obtain the ??? hat. This is a mask-type hat that is shaped like ConcernedApe's face. To get this hat, visit the Volcano Caldera and interact with the monkey. Now, you have officially beat the game! You can keep playing to expand your farm, or start over on a different farm layout.
