Like all modern Ubisoft titles, Star Wars Outlaws comes in a variety of different editions, each with its own unique content, expansions, and other things you pay too much money for. Fortunately, most of these bonuses don't have a huge impact on gameplay, and are simply fun little additions.
Star Wars Outlaws Review Discussion
That includes pre-order DLC, which in Outlaws comes in the form of a variety of outfits and appearance options for Kay Vess, her signature blaster, and the Trailblazer ship. You can find a number of these throughout the base game by completing quests and exploring the planets you stumble across, but if you offer up some extra pennies, there is even more to be had.
What Are The Pre-Order Bonuses For Star Wars Outlaws?
Star Wars Outlaws has multiple pre-order bonuses on offer depending on whether you go for the Standard, Gold, or Ultimate Editions. Here’s the full list of cosmetic packs on offer and what editions they belong to:
- Kessel Runner Pack (Standard, Gold, Ultimate)
- Rogue Infiltrator Pack (Ultimate)
- Sabacc Shark Pack (Ultimate)
Each pack contains three individual cosmetic items for Kay Vass to equip alongside a couple of outfits for Nix, some charms, and extra decals for Kay’s speeder and the Trailblazer. What you’d expect from an Ubisoft title peddling different editions, and unfortunately they aren’t in your hands right away when you start a new game. Instead, you need to pick them up a few hours into the campaign.
Where To Find Pre-Order Bonuses In Star Wars Outlaws
The game’s story begins with Kay Vess taking part in a heist gone wrong on the planet of Canto Bight. She eventually steals a ship and manages to avoid certain death, only to crash on Toshara which, in typical Star Wars fashion, is a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Once you're let loose Toshara and have completed several quests, which involve gaining a few new allies and gaining proper access to the Trailblazer, you will be free to explore the ship and all of its rooms at your leisure.
As you walk up the ramp, to your right will be a delivery crate where a variety of things will be dropped off throughout the game, such as rewards earned from syndicate allegiances and gifts from characters you’ve grown close to. This is also where the pre-order DLC can be found once you have progressed far enough to gain access to it. If you have the ultimate edition like myself, make sure you keep on renewing so you don’t miss an item, because there are a lot of them.
The Trailblazer is also home to a wardrobe where you can try on new clothes. Moreover, you can simply pause the game and head over to your loadout where outfits and charms are free to be switched out at any time. Now go, be free, and enjoy cosplaying as Han Solo and Lando.
