Star Wars Outlaws: Where Is The Stranded Merchant On Akiva?

Most of the requirements for unlocking Abilities in Star Wars Outlaws are pretty straightforward. You can get most of them just by playing the game, sometimes changing your tactics slightly to accommodate a new playstyle. One Ability in particular though, Survivor, has a condition that stands out; you have to find a stranded merchant somewhere on Akiva.

PostsAkiva is a big place, covered with dense jungle, so it might sound like finding one person there is like searching for a needle in a haystack. It's not as daunting as it sounds, though, and with this guide you'll find him in no time at all.
How To Find The Stranded Merchant
CloseThe stranded merchant is a rodian by the name of Namda Eaakee, and he can't be reached until the Speeder is upgraded to traverse water. That's not a problem for the purposes of unlocking Survivor, however, because the Ability doesn't become available until you've met Temmin Wexley the Salvager, who gives you the upgrade as part of his Expert Quest after The Droidsmith mission.
Once the hydro-repulsor is installed, travel to the lake on the west side of Akiva. Namda is stuck in the part of the lake labeled as The Cauldron on the map, and has made camp on the west side of the island with the crashed spaceship. Approach from the northwest, and you should see his makeshift stall shortly after you come ashore. All you have to do is speak to him to complete the requirement for Survivor.
Namda also sells the AF-2 component that is required for the Veteran Slice Kit upgrade in the Veteran Ability set. For this reason, it's best to visit Namda after completing MT-7's mission chain, which can be unlocked by deciphering fragmented transmissions in space until you can access the hidden landing pad on Akiva.
Before you leave Namda's island, be sure to override the lock on the door behind his stall. Inside is a treasure chest containing a new paint job for the Trailblazer.

PostsHow To Defeat Three Death Troopers In A Row
CloseThe second requirement for Survivor is to defeat three Death Troopers in a row, without dying yourself or defeating any other enemy types in between. This can be done on any planet, and the best way to do it is to attack Storm Troopersuntil your Wanted level is high enough that a manhunt is launched. A Death Trooper camp will appear on whichever planet you're currently on, forcing you to deal with them.
These camps typically have three Death Troopers and an officer. You'll have a much easier time fighting them if you have the Electro-Shock Prod, but it's not required. The best way to approach the fight (with the objective of taking out the three DTs in a row in mind) is to approach in stealth and shoot the officer in the tent before you're noticed, then fight the Death Troopers.
The tent usually has a weapon rack with powerful E-11 Blaster Rifles. If you can get a good angle, try to have Nix swipe one, as it will deal a lot more damage than your pistol.
Try to build up Adrenaline quickly, then shoot all three Death Troopers at once. This won't kill them (as evidenced by the yellow aura in slow-motion), but it will stun them, letting you rush in for a melee finisher even if you don't have the Electro-Shock Prod.
Once you've met Namda and fought three Death Troopers, you'll be able to claim your reward; Survivor permanently increases Kay's maximum health.
