These various gear sets give powerful bonuses to Kay's health, damage, or other effects to help enrich your gameplay.

The Disruptror Gear Set, when worn, boosts the effects of your ion blaster. But in order to obtain it, you have to complete a few other intel questlines first. Below is everything you need to know about how to get the Disruptor Gear Set and the bonus it provides you when worn.

What Is The Disruptor Gear Set?

Each piece of the Disruptor Gear set provides you with powerful bonuses when using your ion blaster.

• Organic enemies are ionized for longer when hit with enough ion damage.
• Ionized droids now attack everything around them before exploding.

Disruptor Belt

• Increases Ion Module damage.
• Increases Ion Module heat capacity.

Disruptor Pants

• Increases Grenade carrying capacity.
• Granades now deal ion damage.

When you equip all three items, dealing ion damage to ionized enemies is now lethal.

How Do You Get The Disruptor Gear Set?

There are two big steps towards getting the Disruptor Gear Set. First, you need to find and collect all 16 Encrypted Messages. They are inside these round yellow containers and are spread out through the orbits of Toshara, Akiva, Kijimi, and Tatooine.

After you find the first few CIS Transmissions, ND-5 will mention that the signal for these is coming from somewhere on Akiva. This will lead you to starting the Veteran Quest, which you will need to complete to unlock the Decryption Module.

Once you have the Decryption Module, and you've collected all 16 transmissions, you'll receive coordinates for a location on Akiva and a security code.

The coordinates will lead you to a spot in the northeastern corner of the Karaba Foothills. Keep following the map tracker until you find a large door.

There will be a high concentration of Venga in this area, which spit acid balls at you, so make sure to have your blaster ready.

The security code you received will get you through the door here. Once inside, you'll see a crack in the wall that you can squeeze through.

In the room behind the crack you'll find a chest. Open the chest to receive the Disruptor Gear set and resolve the intel.
