Which Star Wars: Hunters character is the best to play as? Let's find out.
PostsWith 13 characters currently available on the roster, and many more to come, it can be difficult for players to decide on which one to play and whom to master. To help you decide that, here's a comprehensive tier list for Star Wars: Hunters, including all the hunters you can unlock.
Our Tier List, Explained
Almost every character in Star Wars: Hunters will vary in effectiveness depending on how you play them and the amount of effort you put into mastering their skill set.
Still, not all hunters are created equal. Some hunters have abilities that you can consider overpowered or borderline broken, while others have skills that barely qualify as a special ability. To help you pick out the right choices from the roster, we've put each of the hunters in one of the four tiers.
- S Tier: These hunters are the best choices for you to pick up and master. Their skills and abilities are significantly stronger than the other characters in the game, and having them on your team greatly increases your chances of victory.
- A Tier: The hunters in this tier require a certain level of mastery and expertise to truly shine in your team. Most of these characters, with the right placement and play style, can potentially outperform even the top-tier picks.
- B Tier: These hunters are overall decent picks, but their skills aren't very 'overpowered'. You can have a fun time playing around with them, but they certainly won't guarantee your victory.
- C Tier: The hunters in this tier should be your last pick. Even though some of them are unlocked far into the Hunter Path, their abilities aren't worth the grind. They simply get outclassed by the other characters.

Sentinel
Tank
- The best tank and one of the easiest characters to get in the early stages of Star Wars: Hunters.
- Overpowered skill set with a shield that guards almost a third of his HP with a short 12-second cooldown. He can also CC enemies by summoning two extra stormtroopers that assist him in battle.
Aran Tal
Damage
- One of the best damage dealers with a fairly simple skillset that can be broken if played correctly.
- He can fly around the arena while continuously raining hell on the enemies with his fiery abilities. He can also easily get out of any sticky situation with his high mobility skills.
Rieve
Damage
- Even though Rieve is one of the most difficult characters to play as a beginner, with proper mastery, she can be a menace.
- She can leap around the arena with her skills, making her very hard to target, and even if you can get a lock on her, she can deflect all the bullets back at you with her abilities.

Diago
Damage
- A great damage dealer who can potentially become a game-changer if you can position him correctly and hit your shots right.
- If you can play as a sniper, Diago is a perfect pick. His skills allow him to sense nearby enemies, place mines and even grapple away from danger, making him an ideal marksman.
Imara Vex
Damage
- Imara Vex is the first character that you get to play in Star Wars: Hunters, and is also one of the best picks for a damage dealer.
- She is quite simple to play and can consistently deal solid damage, especially with her ultimate, which, if played correctly, allows her to clear an entire team by herself with ease.
Slingshot
Tank
- The last character you can unlock from the Hunter's Path and Slighshot requires a substantial grind to get your hands on. He's a great tank while also good at dealing damage consistently.
- He's a combination of Imara and Sentinel with his shield and micro-rocket abilities, and with a bit of mastery can be perfect for any team.
Skora
Support
- The best support character in Star Wars: Hunter, Skora is a must-have for any team. He can buff as well as heal friendly hunters, greatly increasing their survivability.
- Skora can even self-heal, making her a perfect healer who can continuously pump out heals without having to depend on the team's protection.
B Tier Characters

Reason
Grozz
Tank
- A good tank, but only great as a meat shield. He can only deal melee damage, making him far inferior to other tanks.
- Can consistently apply crowd control, but has to sneak up on them to be useful. Useless in ranged fights.
Utooni
Damage
- Utooni is a good damage dealer, but very difficult to use. Their skills make it harder for friendly hunters, including Utooni, to target enemies.
- Can deal damage even after dying, but the death grenade can be dodged easily.
Zaina
Support
- A decent healer with an overall easy-to-use skill set, but outclassed by Skora.
- She can't heal herself but can help friendly units out of disadvantaged positions with her ultimate.
C Tier Characters

Charr
Tank
- Decent tank, but dies easily because of his skills.
- Even though he can self-heal and has invulnerable skills, if not timed correctly, he can be taken out with ease.
Sprocket
Support
- A good support, but only if the enemy isn't nearby.
- All the droids spawned from his skills can be destroyed by the enemy, making them useless.
J-3DI
Damage
- A melee-damage dealer similar to Rieve, but with a much weaker skill set than her.
- Low mobility, easy to target and kill even before reaching the enemy. Useless if the first skill doesn't hit a target.
