These leaders can enhance your other cards in the best ways, helping you do everything from overwhelm the early game to making great combos.
PostsIt wouldn’t be a Star Wars card game without the ability to take the fight into space. With both space units and ground units to choose from when trying to destroy your opponent’s base, you have complete control of the battlefield. So, to dominate war on the ground, these are the ten best Ground Units in Star Wars Unlimited: Shadows of the Galaxy.
10 Krayt Dragon
An Aggressive Unit With Control
The only thing keeping Krayt Dragon down is the resource cost of nine. However, having it on your board is the ultimate power move not only because of its strength but because of its impressive ability.
Each time your opponent plays a card, you can deal damage to your opponent’s units or base, depending on the cost. So a three-cost card allows you to deal three damage. This ability is a roundabout way of telling your opponent they simply can't play the game.
9 Maul, Shadow Collective Visionary
Ruthless And Destructive
Despite not being an Aggression Aspect card, the Villanous Maul plays very aggressively. He’s got both Ambush and Overwhelm, which is a deadly combo that can put the squeeze on your opponent’s units and bases with no mercy.
Having seven power can beat down many units in a single blow, and with six health points, Maul can already last a while, but his ability allows him to go even further. Instead of Maul taking damage when attacking a unit, he can force a friendly Underworld unit to take the blow instead.
8 Crosshair, Following Orders
Snipe Your Opponent’s Units
Crosshair may not seem like the most powerful card with only two power to deal damage with but don't underestimate the power of one of the deadliest clones of the Bad Batch. His first action costs two resources and buffs his power by one.

Units are essential to your Star Wars: Unlimited deck, and Shadows Of The Galaxy brought with it some great ones.
PostsHis second action deals damage equal to his current power. This means he can attack without actually attacking, so he doesn’t take damage from the action. In addition to this, buffing his power by any other means also works towards strengthening this sniping strategy.
7 Dryden Vos, Offering No Escape
Use Your Opponent's Units
Dryden Vos offers plenty of value to players who utilize him correctly. For starters, he has pretty decent stats for his cost and, in addition to a seven HP, he also has the Shielded keyword. This will allow him to stay on the board longer.
Utilizing the new capture mechanic, Dryden Vos can also allow you to use your opponent’s strongest units as long as you capture them first. This makes him a fearsome and cunning unit once you know what your opponent is playing and which is the best card to capture.
6 Rey, Keeping the Past
It’s Called Unlimited For A Reason
Rey is an interesting unit because she messes with the villains vs heroes formula. While most players try to keep their deck specifically to the aspects of their leaders and bases to avoid paying the extra cost, Rey can be slotted in with a villainous deck without paying it.
She can bypass the cost if Kylo Ren is on the field, and then, on attack, she can heal a unit. If that unit is not of the Heroism aspect, then she can also grant a shield. This makes her better to play outside of her element.
5 DJ, Blatant Thief
Take Your Opponent’s Resources
Being able to create a chokepoint for your opponent’s resources can limit what they can play during the round. Most players know how many resources are optimal for their strategies and will plan accordingly. Even subtracting that by one can be detrimental.

Posts 1First, you’ll have to smuggle DJ into the resource pile and pay his extra cost. If deployed this way, DJ will capture one of your opponent’s resources, and they won’t get it back till he is defeated. It’s a great way to interrupt their rhythm.
4 Jango Fett, Renown Bounty Hunter
Collect More Rewards
Jango Fett is perfect for bounty hunting. When he attacks a unit that has a bounty on their head, he gets to boost his power by three and gains overwhelm. On top of collecting the bounty, he also lets you draw a card which opens up more options.
Jango Fett is a must-have for your Villanous Aggression decks that want to make the most of the new keywords. On top of that, his high health of six ensures he’ll stick around.
3 Bazine Netal, Spy For The First Order
Hand Information And Hand Rip
If you’re looking for a low-cost card that can give you the most value for playing it, then Bazine Netal is the perfect deck for some Villainous tactics. She allows you to see your opponent’s entire hand and then rip one card out of it.
While your opponent can draw a card, knowing most of the cards in their hand can help you plan around their future plays. Bazine also does not need to be smuggled first for this effect to happen. Even at four resources to smuggle, the effect is well worth the price.
2 Supreme Leader Snoke, Shadow Ruler
Weaken All Units
Supreme Leader Snoke is one of the most powerful cards in Shadows of the Galaxy. When deployed, he is able to instantly drain all enemy units of two power and HP; this is an excellent effect that allows you to attack units while minimizing the damage taken to your own units.

Posts 1It can also be used to drain shielded units of their health without breaking through their shields first. If you manage to get a shielded unit’s health to zero, they will be defeated regardless of their shield token.
1 Poe Dameron, Quick To Improvise
Improvise Your Strategies
The best cards in any TCG are the ones that give you the most options to work with. Poe Dameron gives you not just one but three options to choose from at the low cost of discarding one card.
You can deal two damage to a unit or even a base, then the second option lets you instantly defeat an upgrade, and finally, the last option forces your opponent to discard a card from their hand. The best part of using Poe is you can use as many different options as you need as long as you keep it under three discards.
