With the Lobster Trip update in Roblox's Fisch, lobsters are no longer just another species to catch; they've become a full-fledged part of Second Sea's progression. And the best part is that now there are many more ways to catch these sea creatures, thanks to a bunch of different Lobster Cages.

This is a completely new mechanic that allows you to feel like a real ship captain and go on a large-scale fishing trip. And if you want to collect the best traps for your future catches, here's everything you need to know about how to get and use Lobster Cages.

How To Get Lobster Cages

Lobster Cages are special equipment used for lobster hunting in both the First and Second Seas. They are different from the usual fishing rods or nets and are designed exclusively for lobster fishing. You can obtain them only on special islands: Lobster Shores in First Sea or Netter's Haven in Second Sea. Each cage has its own stats, such as Luck and Max kg, which affect your chances of successful capture and the weight of your catch. As you can see, each subsequent cage is a serious improvement in weight and catching chances. But the most valuable is the Cursed Cage. To get it, you have to complete two tasks: first, prepare a Lobster Roll, and then climb to the top of Cursed Shores and give the dish to the Lobster Cultist NPC. After that, you can receive the most powerful trap in the game for 15,000 E$. In turn, Lobster Roll can be obtained by bringing the required lobster to Chef Larry NPC, located at Lobster Shores at the following coordinates: -605, 155, 2700.

How To Use Lobster Cages

To use the Lobster Cage, you need to have one of the Utility Boats that can be purchased from the Shipwright NPC in First Sea at Lobster Shores or in Second Sea at Netter's Haven.

It is worth noting that the kind of Lobster Cages you can equip on your vehicle depends on the Boat Tier.

For example, the Small Utility Boat supports only Old Cage, while the Huge Utility Boat allows using any of them. Once you have a boat and a cage, follow these steps:

• Spawn your Utility Boat in the First or Second Sea.
• Swim directly to one of the lobster pools - these are red zones in open waters with signed names.
• Once you find one, press X to select the cage you want to place on the bait. Next, choose a spot in the red zone to drop the cage.
• After that, a timer will appear above the cage to indicate how much time is left until the catch. Wait until the timer runs out and interact with the cage.
• This will start a mini-game where you need to move the cursor into the white circle several times.
• If everything goes well, you will take your catch, or nothing if you are unlucky.

Depending on the quality of the cage, you will be able to catch a common lobster or even rarer ones. If you plan to take fishing seriously, be sure to buy a Reinforced Cage or Obsidian Cage, and if you're aiming for a really fierce farm, work on the Cursed Cage.
