Skins are a purely customization option since they do not affect the stats of your fishing rods. However, this does not mean that getting them is easy. You will have to spend quite a lot of Tokens, and besides, you also need to be lucky, since getting skins largely depends on RNG.

Rod Skins Explained

After the Winter Update - Phase 2, you can find several new NPCs, namely Skin Merchants. They can be found in almost all major locations:

• Moosewood Island
• Ancient Isle
• Roslit Bay
• Mushgrove Swamp
• Forsaken Shores
• Snowcap Island
• The Depths
• Desolate Deep

In the latter location, you'll want to visit the Desolate Pocket to find the NPC. They sell players several types of crates, each with unique skins for fishing rods in Fisch.

Each crate has a unique set of skins with different rarity and drop rates. Also, it is worth noting that these skins are not universal. In other words, each skin is suitable only for a certain fishing rod. Because of this, getting a skin for your main tool becomes a real challenge in Fisch. Moreover, crates have different prices, so you should sell your most valuable catches.

The NPCs also sell Bundles with unique items and skins, but only for 799 Robux.

How To Unlock All Rod Skins

Regardless of which of the Merchants you talk to, you will be able to buy the same crates in Fisch. There are three types of them:

• Moosewood Crate (25,000 C$)
• Desolate Crate (75,000 C$)
• Ancient Isles Crate (175,000 C$)

When you buy one of them, the crate is added to your inventory. So, to open it, you need to take it in your hands and click anywhere. After that, you will receive one of the skins depending on their drop rate. Unfortunately, unlike fishing, you cannot affect your luck when opening skin crates in Fisch. Therefore, to get all the skins, you will need a lot of Tokens. When you finally get skins, you can equip them through the Equipment menu.
