How To Farm Essence In Early Game
When you're in the first world of Anime Last Stand, you don't have a direct way to farm any type of essence. However, since you won't be focusing on evolutions too much in this world, you also don't need them. If you do want to stack up on essence, the best way to do it is by progressing in the battle pass.
These can give you a lot of Essence Selectors, which can be used to pick a certain number of any type of essence. It's important to save these selectors until you need them. You can also get a bunch of selectors by getting lucky in the daily wheel or taking part in various limited-time events.
How To Farm Essence In Late Game
The real grind for essence starts once you reach the second world, especially after you're further into the game since the main focus will be on the evolution of different characters. You can find the Elemental Caverns in the story area of this world, and it'll fulfill your high requirements for every type of essence.
You can farm all five types of essence here by taking part in their specific stages, with a higher essence drop for higher difficulty. The enemies in the stage will be the same elemental type as the essence you're farming, which means that you'll have to bring units that counter the element by dealing 300 percent damage:
- Fire counters Nature
- Nature counters Water
- Water counters Fire
- Light counters Dark and vice versa
If you're looking for essence outside of these five elements, you can check out the Legend stages in the story mode. A specific stage here will have the essence you require, though these are very hard to beat unless you have good units.
