If you really want to get ahead in Anime Adventures, then you'll want to be trading with other players. Trading allows you to gain access to rare units whilst shunting off items that are of no use to you. Mutually beneficial, there's nothing quite like a great trade deal.

Updated October 7, 2023, by Sean Murray: Wondering how to trade in Roblox's Anime Adventures? We got you covered with this updated and refreshed guide which now has improved formatting for easier readability.

How To Initiate Trades In Anime Adventures

Trading is only accessible to players level 40 and over, so you might need to put a little work in before you can trade. If you're at a high enough level, then you can trade freely.

Before you can trade, you'll need to find someone to trade with. This can easily be done by asking a friend to trade with you in Anime Adventures. Otherwise, you'll need server-hop and ask around until you find a cooperating player.

This is best done by messaging in chat and advertising what units or items you are willing to trade.

Alternatively, you can send one trade request to every player on the server. It's best to only do this once, though, do not spam other players with trade requests.

Trading Specifics in Anime Adventures

When someone accepts your trade request, or if you have received a trade request, you can commence trading. You will be prompted to add units or items to the trade pool. This is what you will be offering to the other player.

In turn, they will add items or units to their trade pool. This is what they are offering you. Items and units can be added to the pool at the same time, allowing for complex trades to be initiated.

When it comes to trading units, only limited units can be traded. Limited units are units that can no longer be obtained through summonsor rewards in Anime Adventures. The only way to get your hands on limited units is through trading, so if you want a specific character that can be summoned, you won't be able to get your hands on it through trading.

You will notice that one of you will have to pay gems alongside the trade. This is a 'tax', and gems are added related to the rarity of the items being traded. This tax is paid by the player who is gaining the better deal, to automatically make each trade more balanced.

Below is a table detailing the specifics of what skins and units contribute to the tax.

Skin / Unit being traded

Epic Skins

100 gems

Once both players have added their units and/or items to the trading pools, click 'Ready'. This will show that you are happy to trade the selected units. If you and your partner are ready, then a small countdown will begin, providing an extra few seconds to back out of the deal.

Once that countdown ends, both players will swap the agreed items and/or units.

If you are not fond of what your partner is offering, or if they are being difficult, then you can communicate through the chat function that will still be available. This will allow you to reach a deal with the other player and to make the trade more beneficial for you both.

If you are struggling to reach an agreement, then you can always cancel the trade and look for someone more reasonable to trade with.

Try to remain reasonable yourself, however. Attempting to pull a fast one on your trading partner most likely won't work, and you'll never reach a trade agreement. Make sure to provide fair trades and watch out for players attempting to rip you off!
