The sci-fi sequel goes bigger, but is it better?
PostsFor example, you come across an orange goo that seems to rejuvenate you, granting you new strength on these alien world. What should that be called? Why exactly what it is, Orange Goo! They are found on every planet in this system, with quite a number of them found in the arid lands of Xephyr. Here's where to find them all.
What Is Orange Goo Used For?
In Revenge of the Savage Planet, Orange Goo is your primary means of gaining new power. In this sense, you are given more Health and Stamina the more Orange Goo you consume. The more you have already eaten, the more you need to eat before you gain another level.
As such, this means you do not gain Health and Stamina with every Orange Goo you eat, but once you've eaten enough to level up. There's no spare Orange Goo, either, so you'll need to eat them all if you want to max out your character.
Every Xephyr Orange Goo Location
On Xephyr, there are 24 Orange Goo for you to collect across it's sandy dunes. This is the same as all other planets except for Stellaris Prime, which instead has 31 in total. You won't be able to get all of them on your initial visit to Xephyr, but you should still be able to get the vast majority of them.
Orange Goo will be marked on the map as unavailable if you can't reach it yet with your current abilities, letting you know you can just come back later.
That said, you can still get some of them even if they're meant to be unavailable, which the game will congratulate you for.
