When you get your hands on the first Pickaxe in Runescape: Dragonwilds, you'll realize that it doesn't deal a lot of damage to the nodes, and it takes you quite a while to farm even the stone boulders. One way to make this faster and get better equipment in the game is by looking for some Copper ore to make Bronze Bars.

Bloodwood Sap is an important resource if you want to challenge Velgar in Runescape: Dragonwilds, and here's how you can get it.

While Copper ore is one of the most basic resources for the mid-game, you won't be able to get it for quite a while since you need to progress to the fourth biome. Aside from Copper, you'll also need to farm some Tin if you want to get some use out of it.

Where To Find Copper Ore

To get yourself some Copper in Runescape: Dragonwilds, you have to reach the Fractured Plains biome. This is the fourth biome in the game right after Whispering Swamp, and you can easily identify it with the pink-colored grass. This is the biggest biome in the game, and it has Copper nodes scattered everywhere.

An easy way to identify these nodes is by looking for some circular piles of stone with orange-colored ore on them. Once you find the ore, you can easily mine it with the Rocksplosion ability or get yourself a Bone Pickaxe. Since they're scattered in a huge area, it's also recommended to place some Lodestones for easy travel next time.

Fractured Plains is a dangerous biome since it has high damage-dealing enemies like the wolves that can defeat you with two hits.

If you want to survive here, it's recommended to get yourself bronze-tier equipment before looking to far copper in bulk.

Once you get some Copper ore, you'll also need Tin to get yourself some Bronze Bars, which will unlock a bunch of new buildings, equipment, and other items.

All Copper Ore Locations

While you can easily locate Copper nodes while going around the Fractured Plains biome, there are also some specific areas you can visit to get them in high density:

• The best place to get Copper ore in Runescape: Dragonwilds is the secluded area on the northeast with a building shown on the map. You can get a bunch of ore on this area's boundary once you cross the river.
• You can also head to the eastern edge of the middle part, where you can find some Copper ore on the edge and inside a cave.
• Finally, you can also find a ton of Copper ore on the western part of the area past the big purple river going through it. Reach the northern point of this area and you'll see a bunch of nodes.
