Best Way To Level Up Attack Skill
The Attack skill can be leveled up by dealing damage to the enemy using a melee weapon, successfully blocking attacks, and parrying. Using ranged weapons, such as a bow, will not provide you with Attack experience, even if you manage to kill an enemy with one shot.
Each time you level up the Attack skill, it will reduce the stamina consumed while attacking by one percent. The Attack skill experience is shown in the middle of the screen under the attack icon as you perform any action that gives you Attack experience.
Parrying an enemy and then attacking them with a melee weapon will give a drastic bonus to your Attack skill experience gain for a short duration and is an excellent way to level up the Attack skill.

Parry
It allows you to parry a melee attack from the enemy, staggering them momentarily if the parry is successful. It also grants you a damage and attack skill experience bonus while attacking the staggered enemy until they recover.

Melee Weapon Special Action
This skill allows you to use the Special Attack option for each melee weapon. Different types of weapons have different special attacks.

Tempest Shield
Consume 15x Air Runes to conjure a protective shield made out of air. The Tempest Shield will block any damage from going through, even if you're blocking from a two-handed weapon that lets some damage get through. After the duration of the spell ends, it will trigger a small blast, damaging nearby enemies.

Weapon Expertise
This upgrade lets you use additional attacks with melee weapons.

Enchant Weapon: Fire
This spell coats your melee weapon with fire after consuming 15x Fire and 5x Astral Runes. The melee weapon will inflict the burn status effect on enemies with every critical hit, causing them to take damage over time.

Adaptability
This upgrade makes it possible for you to guard or parry in the middle of a melee attack combo.

Weapon Rack
Allows you to build a weapon rack, which can be used to display any weapons that you have crafted.

Enchant Weapon: Air
The spell lets you coat your melee weapon in air for 15x Air and 5x Astral Runes. Using this spell on a melee weapon will enhance your attack speed for a limited duration.

Lesser Potion Of Attack Recipe
This upgrade will unlock the Lesser Potion of Attack's recipe in the brewing cauldron. You'll need one Snapdragon, one unit of ground granite, and one clay vessel to craft this potion.

Training Dummy
This upgrade unlocks the Training Dummy from the crafting menu. You can practice your melee combos on it or simply use the dummy for decoration.

Whetstone
You can now craft the Whetstone at a crafting table using 5x Granite and 10x Stone. A Whetstone temporarily enhances your melee attack damage.
