PS5 Consoles And DualSense Controllers Reduced Across Multiple Retailers

For those of us who waited in virtual queues thousands of people long, and may have even been tempted by scalpers, almost three years ago, it can be hard to believe we've reached a point where PS5s are finally readily available. That's the reality we live in as not only can you pick up a PS5 whenever you like from pretty much anywhere that stocks them, but some of those places are pushing PS5 sales by cutting the console's price.
Target, Walmart, and Amazon are doing that right now. Buy a disc-drive version of the PS5 at those retailers right now and you'll get it for $50 cheaper than you'd usually pay. That's $449.99 as opposed to the usual $499.99. Okay, at just ten percent off the regular retail price, that might not seem like such a big deal. However, when you consider how in-demand the console still is, and how rare it is that current-gen consoles are ever reduced in price, it's a saving you should grab with both hands if you want a PS5 but you don't already own one.

The $450 PS5 comes with one DualSense, but if you do want another, the innovative controllers are cheaper than usual this week too. Either $20 or $25 cheaper than usual, depending on the color you choose, DualSense controllers are $50. Again, that might not seem like that significant a saving, but controllers have gotten so advanced that they cost a lot of money. They're almost always going to be expensive, so if you plan on playing couch co-op with someone, now is the best time to grab one.
