Promise Mascot Agency: How To Negotiate Perks When Hiring Mascots

Part of running a successful agency in Promise Mascot Agency involves actually having mascots to send out on jobs, so first you need to get your business pants on and get out there hiring some new employees. As you find new mascots to hire, you'll have to negotiate the terms of their hiring agreement.

PostsThere are six different perks you can offer in order to hire mascots, but that doesn't necessarily mean you should give them everything upfront. Here's everything you need to know.
How The Perk System Works
When mascots go on jobs, they will take a percentage of the earnings from the job as their fee. When you are looking to recruit a mascot, there will be a minimum job share they require (which will be displayed at the top of the negotiation fee), and you also have to sweeten the pot to get them interested enough to work for you.
The more perks you give a Mascot, the happier they will be, which will help them in overcoming obstacles they might encounter while on a job (as it adds to their stats).
You can offer a maximum of three perks for each mascot.
However, perks are permanent and cannot be taken away once offered, so you need to balance keeping your mascots happy with being a businessman who wants to make money.
The bar on the right will show you how happy a mascot is with your offer, the higher the bar, the more stats they get, increasing their Happiness and Motivation. Once you've filled the first third of the bar, they'll be interested enough to agree.
All Available Perks
CloseThese are the six perks that you can offer mascots when hiring them. These perks cannot be changed langer.
Extra 5% Job Share
The mascot will get an extra 5% Job Share.
Extra 10% Job Share
The mascot will get an extra 10% Job Share.
Extra 15% Job Share
The mascot will get an extra 15% Job Share.
Bonus
After every five jobs, you must negotiate a bonus for the mascot and they cannot be sent on further jobs until the bonus is given. The minimum bonus is 50k, and giving bonuses will increase Happiness and Motivation.
Job Share Review
After every seven jobs the mascot completes, they will get a Job Share Review and cannot be sent on further jobs until this is completed and their share is amended.
However, it does not necessarily mean you have to increase their share, though you should know that lowering it reduces their Happiness to zero.
Time Off
After every six jobs, the mascot will get 24 hours off. Their stats are protected during this time and their Stamina refills more quickly.
How Should You Negotiate With Mascots?
While you may want to make your mascots as happy as possible, we'd recommend avoiding giving your mascots too much to begin with.
You're going to need a lot of money, and not far into the game you have to start sending money off to Shimazu and there is a timer that starts counting down as the money runs out, meaning you have to regularly send money. In short, you're going to need your money before your mascots do.
It's better to go in cheap so you can build your agency up before you start paying out more for your mascots. As you meet new mascots, they'll ask for more of a base share. Additionally, the more you progress and unlock advanced jobs, the more money you earn per job.
Which Perks Should You Pick?
While all of the perks have their own pros and cons, if you want to be cautious we recommend only offering two perks, which is enough to secure a mascot. The two we recommend are:
- Five percent extra job share
- Job Share Review
While the Job Share Review might seem like a costly perk, remember you don't have to increase it, which means you have a built in method to save some money. If you are struggling for cash, you can lower their share (after increasing it at least once) and save some money. Their Happiness resets to zero, but it won't take long to build it back up.
Time Off is another option, but when you're first starting out and have fewer mascots, you can certainly feel the pinch if they all take their time off around the same time.
As you get more wealthy and money isn't an issue, you can offer whichever perks you want without any risk, but it's better to start slow and steady.
When you are ready and financially stable to spread the wealth with a healthy roster of mascots, we recommend going for the following perks when hiring: an Extra 15 Percent Job Share, Job Share Review, and Time Off.
