Promise Mascot Agency: Fish For Sumire's Knives Side Quest Walkthrough

If there's one thing you'll have plenty of in Promise Mascot Agency, it's side quests, side quests, and more side quests. Most of these quests involve tracking down various collectibles, but the rewards are always worthwhile, usually offering upgrades or Hero Cards.

Promise Mascot Agency Is Like Yakuza If It Was Just The Real Estate Minigame

The 'Fish For Sumire's Knives' quest is worth undertaking as you'll unlock fishing straight away, and then completing the quest will earn you a lot of Hero Cards. Here's what you need to know about how to start and complete this quest.

How To Find Sumire

Sumire can be found on the eastern edge of the Fishing Marina, and if you don't venture there by yourself, you'll eventually be guided there by Pinky.

As well as offering Mascot Help Items and recruiting her as a Mascot Support Hero, you can speak to her about town requests to undertake her 'Fish For Sumire's Knives' side quest. Simply undertaking this quest will unlock the ability to fish at set locations in Kaso-Machi.

All Fishing Hole Locations

There are five fishing holes across Kaso-Machi and each one contains one of the knives you need. It appears that your first attempt at each spot will yield the knife you want, though you can keep fishing to get Mascot Help Items or money.

  This fishing hole is found south of the Shopping Street, and will result in you fishing up the Deteriorated Deba Knife.

• Fuguhiki Knife

  This fishing hole is found south of Mayor Maeda's Residence, just along the thing strip of river. You'll find the Rust-covered Fugihiki Knife here.

• Yanagiba Knife

  This fishing hole is found just southwest of the Mechanic and will earn you the Rusted Yanagiba Knife.

• Western Knife

  This fishing hole is found northeast of the Mountain Summit, in the small pool south of the larger lake. Fishing here will earn you the Damaged Western Knife.

• Usuba Knife

  This fishing hole is found northwest of the Kaso Shrine, in the thin narrow river. Here you'll fish up the Corroded Usuba Knife.

Side Quest Rewards

Return to Sumire at the Fishing Marina and hand in all the knives (annoyingly, you'll have to do it one by one). The first four knives that you give Sumire will each reward the next upgraded Hero Card for Sumire, while the fifth and final knife will result in being rewarded the Hero Card for The Crabs.
