Every Sparkle Gem In Princess Peach: Showtime
Cowgirl Peach is the rootinest, tootinest ensemble in all of Princess Peach Showtime, and her three levels are action packed with lots of chase sequences and quick draw pistols. Blink and you’ll miss a Sparkle Gem in these levels - or not, with our guide by your side.
Every Sparkle Gem in Cowgirl in the Wilderness
Cowgirl in the Wilderness is the first floor level, but it’s one of the most action-packed first stages of any ensemble. That means lots of combat, lots of sets, and lots of Sparkle Gems. Or, the same amount of Sparkle Gems as any first ensemble stage, but still. Let’s find ‘em all, partner.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 1
Use your ribbon on the three plant pots in the second hut of the first level… three two one and all that. Note that one plant pot is already bloomed, but there are three more - the third one can be hard to spot at the back of the room.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 2
This Gem is hidden behind the barrels to the right of the bandits guarding the tavern door. Sneak behind them when they’re not shooting to grab it.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 3
Turn on the light next to the door in the basement to get this unmissable Gem. Turn on all three to reveal the ribbon collector for a reward too - and check out our guide on every hidden ribbon right here.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 4
Save all the villagers in barrels before time runs out You can throw barrels at enemies or the stage to free villagers, and should prioritise villagers over enemies.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 5
Grab all eight Gem fragments when chasing the bandits on horseback. You’ll need to grab the fifth and sixth fragments at the back of the level quickly before they disappear.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 6
When chasing the bandits, the horse with the huge stack of boxes has a Gem in the top box. Lasso all the crates away, then grab the Gem before you reach the end of the level.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 7
This Gem is also on horseback. At the section where the bandits start shooting out the bridge, you need to swap from the near bridge to the far bridge when you’re able to in order to reach the gem on this horse with your lasso.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 8
Once you catch up to the main bandit and lasso him off his horse, you will get this Gem.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 9
After catching the main bandit, don’t follow him into the cave. Instead, go past it and pose with ZL on the spot in the right hand corner to access the hidden area. Lasso all four bandits down here to get the Gem.
Cowgirl in the Wilderness Sparkle Gem 10
Unmissable, given for completing the level. To defeat the boss grab the barrels he fires then jump over any bullets before throwing the barrel back at him. When he’s dazed, lasso him into the air. Do this three times to defeat him.
Every Sparkle Gem in Cowgirl at Dusk
In your second western outing, your connection with your horse becomes vital as you race through town. That means to master Cowgirl Peach’s Sparkle Gems, you’ll need to ride with the best of them. Here’s how you do that.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 1
Take the low road when the ramp leads down during the initial chase sequence and grab the Gem floating on a table in the saloon.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 2
Grab all eight fragments when the store fronts start falling down to get the second Gem of the level.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 3
When running along the top of the train, jump off the last carriage to grab this Gem.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 4
After landing on the train, before heading through the door, walk backwards to find a glowing spot next to the burlap sacks. Pose here with ZL, then free the three villagers by lassoing their barrels in the hidden area.
Go back even further than the glowing spot to find the ribbon collector at the back of the train in a barrel. Lasso it to free him, and check out our complete ribbon guide here.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 5
Throw barrels from the train at the horses who run past. There are six barrels and four horses, but the horse with the Gem is protected until it is the last horse remaining, so be careful with your shots.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 6
When avoiding the sliding boxes and containers, a Gem is trapped between them. You’ll need to let these go past you then chase them to grab it safely.
Cowgirl at Dusk Sparkle Gem 7
Lasso the train’s steampipe as it falls at the end of the level to grab this final Gem.
The Dark Locomotive & The Dark Town
In The Dark Locomotive & the Doomed Town, Cowgirl Peach gives chase to a speeding train, so you’ll need to keep your wits about you to make sure you grab every Sparkle Gem there is.
The Dark Locomotive & the Doomed Town Sparkle Gem 1
During the opening chase, just after the wooden platform the Sparkle Gem is hiding between two rocks in the middle. Weave in and out to grab it, but if you weave out too late, you lose a heart but keep the Gem, so it’s worth the risk.
The Dark Locomotive & the Doomed Town Sparkle Gem 2
This unmissable Gem comes when you rescue the Cowgirl Sparkla from the railroad tracks.
The Dark Locomotive & the Doomed Town Sparkle Gem 3
Before you climb on the carriage as the Cowgirl Sparkla gets on the horse, head to the back of the screen where the track gives out and pose with ZL to head to a hidden area. Lasso four bandits down here and grab the third Gem.
The Dark Locomotive & the Doomed Town Sparkle Gem 4
When you start riding the carriages behind the horse, the second horse chasing you has a wooden box with the Gem on its back. Lasso it to grab the Gem.
The Dark Locomotive & the Doomed Town Sparkle Gem 5
In the final chase against the train, grab enough barrels and throw them directly at the train to force it into the missing bridge to grab the final Gem of your Wild West adventure. With all those gems, you’re a real rhinestone cowgirl.
