Everyone's favourite Princess is ready to go full Sailor Moon in her new standalone adventure.
PostsPrincess Peach: Showtime offers Princess Peach an adventure away from the rest of the Mario gang, which is why the game also introduces new NPCs, villains, and magical items previously unseen in the franchise. So, to explain what happens at the end of the game, let’s break down all the new concepts Princess Peach: Showtime throws at you.
What Is The Theet’s Sparkle Theater?
Princess Peach: Showtime takes place in the Sparkle Theater, a new location in the Super Mario universe. The Sparkle Theater is where the Teeths, a new race of cute NPCs, go to watch mind-bending plays that lift their spirits.
Each play at the Sparkle Theater is led by a Sparkla, a renowned actor who can perfectly play their role thanks to the power of Sparkle. There are ten Sparklas in the Sparkle Theater, each playing the protagonist of a gripping tale. The Sparklas’ presence holds everything together, as without them, the plays wouldn’t have the Sparkle energy they usually boast.
As the game tells you, Sparkle is a magic source of energy made from hope and joy, which you can channel to fight the forces of darkness. Everyone has Sparkle inside them, but Sparklas can use this energy better than anyone else. The Sparklas tend to use Sparkle to spice their plays up, offering spectacles unlike anything the audience has ever seen.
During Princess Peach: Showtime, you’ll collect and use Sparkle to replace the Sparklas, who have been kidnapped by Madame Grape and her Sour Bunch followers.
Since the plays are missing their Sparklas, the Sour Bunch villains were able to take them over and turn their positive message upside down. So, with the help of producer Stella, Princess Peach dresses up and corrects the course of each play in the Sparkle Theater.
What Do Madame Grape And The Sour Bunch Want?
There can be no light without darkness, which is where the Darkle creatures of the Sour Bunch come into play. Like Sparkle, Darkle is a powerful energy capable of reshaping the world around its wielders. However, Darkle conjures sadness, anger, and dismay instead of spreading positive feelings.
Usually, the plays presented in the Sparkle Theater are made to fill the Theets with good energy. Madame Grape, however, is the personification of tragedy, which is why she leads the Sour Bunch to rewrite the Sparkle Theater’s plays and drown the Theets in sorrow and despair.
At each level of Princess Peach: Showtime, the Theets shiver in fear or doubt their abilities to face adversity. Hitting them with Peach’s ribbons gives them some Sparkle energy, reigniting the willpower inside their hearts.
It’s fitting that so many levels of the game invite you to work with the Theets to overcome challenges, as the game’s message is about distributing happiness and courage.

Daisy game when, though?
PostsAt first, Madame Grape is angered by Princess Peach’s heroic action. Soon, though, the villain realizes Peach is the final ingredient she needs to cook the most devastating play of all time.
When you rescue every Sparkla and prepare to face Madame Grape, the villain reveals that Peach’s actions made the Theets hopeful. So, by destroying Peach, Madame Grape can plunge everyone into the most bottomless pits of despair, giving birth to the ultimate tragedy.
How Princess Peach Saves The Theater?
By emprisoning the Sparklas into alternated dimensions filled with darkness, Madame Grape hoped to remove every opposition to her evil intents. However, since Peach ends up trapped in the Sparkle Theater, the Princess teams up with Stela to rescue the Sparklas.
When all the Sparklas work together, their collective Sparkle energy grants Peach her final ensemble: the Radiant costume, imbued with the power of hope. The Radiant ensemble allows Peach to fly freely and shoot beams of light at Madame Grape. Thanks to this powerful tool, Peach defeats the villain.
After the first boss battle against Madame Grape, the power of the Radiant ensemble wears off, and Peach celebrates the victory of hope over tragedy. However, that’s not the end, as Madame Grape channels the power of Darkle to transform into a giant creature. With her gargantuan size, Madame Grape demolishes the Sparkle Theater.
Once the Sparkle Theater is in ruins, Madame Grape thinks she has won the war. The Theets are desperate, and their lands are about to be engulfed in fear and misery. Still, inspired by Princess Peach’s example, they hold on to hope.
After the destruction of the Sparkle Theater, the Theets use the Sparkle energy inside their hearts to empower Princess Peach. With everyone joining their willpower against Madame Grape, Peach can wear the Radiant costume again.
This time, the Radiant ensemble is even more powerful, allowing the Princess to concentrate herself to shoot beams of light that can harm even the giant version of Madame Grape.
The battle against Madame Grape's final form is fierce but ends in victory, thanks to you. The Radiant costume’s light beams weaken the villain, giving Princess Peach access to Madame Grape's Darkle core. With the concentrate Sparkle Peach wields, the Princess shatters Madame Grape’s Darkle core, destroying the villain once and for all.
Even though Madame Grape loses the battle for the Theets’ soul, the Sparkle Theater is still destroyed in the fight's aftermath. Using the power of Sparkle, Princess Peach flies over the theater’s ruins, magically restoring it to its previous state.
Rebuilding the entire Sparkle Theater drains the remaining power of the Radiant ensemble, returning Peach to her regular form. The Sparkle Theater reopens its door, and Peach becomes an honorable guest from whom the Theets demand an encore.
So, by the end of Princess Peach: Showtime, Peach has free access to star in every play, regardless of the Sparklas being freed. It’s a lovely gift from the Theets, who managed to channel their hope to fight against the darkness of the Sour Bunch.
