In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, and the Pokemon series in general, there are numerous creatures that are based around different kinds of food. PostsMilcery, the Fairy-type Cream Pokemon, is a floating creature that resembles a dollop of milk cream. You will eventually be able to evolve Milcery into the more extravagant dessert-looking Alcremie. For how to evolve Milcery and all the forms Alcremie can take in The Indigo Disk, here’s what you need to know.
Where To Catch Milcery
Milcery is one of the returning Pokemon you will find in the Terrarium under Blueberry Academy. You can find Milcery abundantly in the Polar Biome of the Terrarium.
How To Evolve Milcery Into Alcremie
While Milcery may be a cute blob of cream on its own, you’ll likely want to evolve it into Alcremie. Evolving Milcery into Alcremie features one of the special evolution mechanics that Pokemon likes to throw in to spice things up.
You will come across different Sweet items as you explore, and Milcery will need to hold one of these Sweets in order to evolve. Then, evolve Milcery by spinning your character around. Just try not to get dizzy, alright?
You can find Sweets by collecting sparkling items off the ground. You can also craft random Sweets by using the Item Printer in the League Club Room.
Plus, Alcremie actually has several different forms it can become—nine different base forms—depending on what's going on while you spin around.
Which form Milcery evolves into depends on these three factors:
- Which direction you spin
- What time of day you spin
- How long you spin
All Forms Of Alcremie And How To Get Them
You can get different looks for Alcremie by spinning in certain directions at certain times of day. Here are all of Alcremie's forms, and what you need to do to get each one:
Alcremie Form

- Clockwise

Salted Cream
- Night
- Counter-clockwise
- Under five seconds
Vanilla Cream
- Day
- Clockwise
- Under five seconds
The Rainbow Swirl form can be difficult to evolve, since you need to spin during dusk in the game. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet use their own in-game clock, and the "dusk" timeframe usually only lasts for a few real-world minutes, so you need to time it right to get this form.
Types Of Sweets In The Indigo Disk
There are also seven varieties of Sweets you can find that become different decorative pieces that go in the cream curls of Alcremie’s “hair.” These also change the color of their eyes.
The different Sweets you can give to Alcremie are:
- Berry Sweet
- Clover Sweet
- Flower Sweet
- Love Sweet
- Ribbon Sweet
- Star Sweet
- Strawberry Sweet
The type of Sweet you give Milcery to hold will affect certain features, but won't directly change the overall form it evolves into. You can mix and match and "decorate" your Alcremie to be just how you want it.
Between the different Sweets and the different forms, Alcremie actually has 63 unique looks it can take on!
