When listing the most popular Pokemon, the likes of Pikachu, Charizard, and Gengar are likely the ones that immediately spring to mind. Clodsire, maybe not so much. It should, though. Pokemon fans love Clodsire, which is why The Pokemon Company has turned the still rather new addition to its ranks into a gigantic pillow.

Clodsire's Life-Size Pillow Could Be Yours, But It's Unlikely

The Pokemon Company

Pokemon’s new Clodsire pillow has been created as part of a collaboration with Suntroy Boss Coffee. There are two measurements on the promotional images, one that reads 215cm, and another that reads 180cm. I’m assuming that the 215cm measurement is all the way around.

That's more than seven feet, by the way.

I’m assuming that because 180cm is the canonical length of a Clodsire. That means this gigantic pillow has been designed to make it feel like you’re a Paldean Wooper, lying peacefully on a Clodsire’s back. I can't imagine a better way to fall asleep.

Sadly, the chances of you ever knowing how that feels are slim. That’s because there are caveats when it comes to actually getting your hands on one of these pillows - a lot of them. For starters, they are not for sale. They can only be won by entering a contest, and there are only five of them to give away.

How To Enter The Clodsire Pillow Competition

The Pokemon Company

It gets worse. The competition also appears to be restricted to residents of Japan. To be in with a chance of being one of only five people in the world who will end up owning one of these life-size Clodsire pillows, you’ll have to share the promotional post that is scheduled to appear on Suntroy Boss Coffee’s social media accounts between September 18, 2026, and October 18, 2026.

After that date, the five winners will be selected and sent their Clodsire pillows, presumably in a very big truck. There is a consolation prize - a much smaller, normal-sized Psyduck thought bubble pillow. The Pokemon Company will have five of those to give away, too.

I love the Psyduck pillow, but if I entered a contest where there’s a chance I might win a seven-foot Clodsire and I left with a Psyduck, I’d be pretty disappointed.

If you’d like a more guaranteed way of adding a life-size Pokemon that’s big enough to double as home furniture, you have options - expensive ones. Eight of them, to be exact, as every single one of the life-size Eeveelution plushes Pokemon restocked earlier this year is still in stock. They are $400 each, which is not nearly as appealing as a free Clodsire pillow, but hey, at least you’re guaranteed to get one. If you'd prefer to just buy a regular, but still pretty big, Clodsire plush, you can do that, too.
