Dragonite, Tyranitar, And More Join Pokemon's Doll Plush Collection

Summary
- The next four Pokemon joining its Doll Plush collection have been revealed.
- Dragonite, Salamance, Garchomp, and Tyranitar will be the next to get the Poke Doll treatment.
- All four will be released in Japan on April 19, and hopefully elsewhere at a later date.
Pokemon has been turning Poke Dolls, the little toys you can find in the games, into real-life plushes for years. However, considering how big the Pokedex is in 2025, there are naturally still Pokemon that have never receved the Poke Doll treatment. Pokemon has confirmed it will be fixing that for four more of its creations, revealing the next Poke Doll plush designs arriving next week.
The next four Pokemon to be turned into real-life Poke Dolls will be Dragonite, Salamance, Tyranitar, and Garchomp. Almost a clean sweep for Dragon-types if it wasn't for Tyranitar, but look at him, he can be an honorary Dragon. Pokemon confirmed the three dragons, and one honorary dragon, will join its Pokemon Doll plush collection on April 19, 2025.

Some of Pokemon's Japanese prefecture mascots are getting their own unique plushes.
PostsAs is often the case with new Pokemon plushes, these do appear to be exclusive to the Japanese Pokemon Center, at least to begin with. While it's never guaranteed, Pokemon does tend to eventually release plushes and other Japan-exclusive merch in the US and elsewhere. Particularly Pokemon Dolls with most prior designs released in the US shortly after making their debuts in Japan.
Pokemon Is Expanding Its Doll Plush Collection
And Almost All Of Them Are Dragon-Types (Sorry, Tyranitar)
ClosePokemon has a lot of plush types, but it has ways of making each of them unique. It's the aforementioned likeness to the Poke Dolls you've been able to find in the games since the series' inception that makes these plushes some of Pokemon's most popular. They tend to be anywhere between five and eight inches tall, small like they appear in the games, and that means they tend to be cheaper. The standard for Pokemon Doll plushes is $16.99, but some of the older designs are still in stock for $11.99.
Poke Doll plushes aren't to be confused with Pokemon's Soda Pop plushes, which are pretty similar. The Soda Pop plushes are not based on anything from the game, but they are just as small and cute. The unique traits of the Soda Pops are their eyes, and the paler color scheme. That collection was also added to recently with Alolan Vulpix and Munchlax among the new additions.
It feels like we're probably due new Pokemon Squishmallows some time soon too (I told you there are a lot of different Pokemon plush types). Pokemon tends to reveal two new Squishmallow designs every six months or so, and it's been more than five months since it revealed Chansey and Eevee.
