Updated on January 31, 2025, by Christian Pellegrino: Pokemon Go has decided to reintroduce their monthly Eggs-pedition Access, continuing into the new year. Although this month's edition of the Eggs-pedition Access will follow the same format as the previous months, there are a few notable changes. We have updated this guide to reflect this, providing you with all the up-to-date information you need.
What Is Eggs-Pedition Access?
As mentioned above, Eggs-pedition Access is a monthly purchasable ticket, granting ticket-holders with unique bonuses throughout the month that it was purchased. Each month, the Eggs-pedition Access ticket can be purchased from the in-game shop, costing $4.99 USD.
For the month of February, you will be able to purchase this ticket from Friday, January 31, 2025, to Monday, February 10, 2025, at 8pm local time. Once you have purchased this ticket, you will benefit from its various bonuses up until Friday, February 28, 2025, at 8pm local time.
These benefits include month-long exclusive bonuses, access to Eggs-pedition Access Timed Research, and, of course, a handful of unique rewards. The majority of these features and bonuses will follow an Egg-hatching theme.

From when you purchase the Eggs-pedition Access ticket up until Friday, February 28, 2025, at 8pm local time, you will benefit from several in-game bonuses. Each of these six valuable monthly bonuses are provided for you below.
- Obtain one single-use Incubator when spinning your first PokeStop each day.
- Earn triple the XP when spinning your first PokeStop each day.
- Earn triple the XP for making your first catch of the day.
- Increase the maximum number of Gifts that you can open each day to 50.
- Increase the maximum number of Gifts you can keep in your Item Bag to 40.
- Obtain up to 150 Gifts from spinning Photo Discs at either PokeStops or Gyms each day.
To fully take advantage of these bonuses, make sure to catch at least one Pokemon and spin at least one PokeStop each day.
This will maximize the XP you earn, and reward you with several single-use Incubators.
Eggs-Pedition Timed Research
Eggs-pedition Access ticket-holders will also have exclusive Timed Research available to them throughout the month of January. Completing the various tasks that are part of this Timed Research will reward you with 15,000 XP and 15,000 Stardust.
With this being Timed Research, you will only have access to it up until Friday, February 28, 2025, at 8pm local time. Make sure to complete all the tasks and claim all the rewards prior to this, because you won't be able to after this month has concluded.
