Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend
You'll be able to battle against Dynamax Suicune for the first time during the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend, their debut event. This will take place from Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 6am local time, to Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 9pm local time.
You will have several opportunities to battle against Dynamax Suicune in its brand-new Max Battle, replacing many of the other Dynamax Pokemon at Power Spots during the two days of this event. Each time a Dynamax Suicune Max Battle is completed successfully, you will have the chance to catch your own Suicune, possessing the ability to Dynamax once caught.
There will also be a few bonuses in effect during this event, each having to do with Max Particles or Max Battles. These bonuses include:
- Receive eight times the Max Particles from Power Spots.
- Receive Max Particles when traveling 25 percent of the distance.
- Powering up and unlocking Max Moves will cost 25 percent less Max Particles.
- The limit of Max Particles that can be held will be increased to 1,600.
- Power Spots will be refreshed more frequently.
Dynamax Suicune Timed Research
There will be free Timed Research available starting on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 6am local time, helping you prepare for the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend. Make sure to complete the tasks that make up this Timed Research before the conclusion of the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend, providing you with the following rewards:
- One Dynamax Grookey encounter
- Grookey Candy
- Max Particles
- TMs
Dynamax Suicune: Recommended Group Size
You will want to make sure you're attempting this Max Battle with the help of others, realistically being impossible to successfully complete on your own.
