Thanks To Some Recent Big Releases, Xbox Games Continue To Dominate PlayStation's Top Sellers

Summary
- The PlayStation Store is currently being dominated by Xbox-owned games.
- Indeed, Oblivion Remastered, Forza Horizon 5, Call of Duty and Indiana Jones are among PlayStation's best-selling games.
- It presents a rather interesting sight where Xbox is dominating the competition due to owning so many studios.
The PlayStation Store isn't just a way to buy the latest video games, it's also a good way to spot some interesting trends. For instance, back in February, Sony began removing shovelware, spam and AI-generated games.

Speaking of Xbox, it appears that the brand is once again making waves on the PlayStation Store, as multiple Xbox-owned IPs are among the listed bestsellers.
Your PlayStation Is Now An Xbox
Over on the United States version of the PS Store, four of the top 20 best-selling games are all owned by Xbox, including the No. 1 best-selling game.
If you remove free-to-play titles (Roblox, Fortnite, Marvel Rivals), then four of the top 15 best-selling games are owned by Xbox. They are the following:
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
- Call of Duty (specifically, Black Ops 6)
- Forza Horizon 5
- Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Of note, Indiana Jones, Oblivion Remastered and Forza Horizon 5 all came out within the last two weeks, with Oblivion having just been released a few days ago after tons of speculation.
For what it's worth, this type of sight will be rather commonplace in the months and years ahead, as more and more of Microsoft's studios release games across multiple consoles, or past Xbox exclusives make their way to the competition.
Still, as it stands, it's a rather uncanny phenomenon where so much of what gamers want to play is, well, owned by Xbox. The first PlayStation "exclusive" title isn't until Page 2, with The Last of Us Part 2 and Days Gone appearing in the top 30 overall. Like we said, the store is full of interesting trends.
