Like it or not, Pikachu is Pokemon's mascot. It can be annoying for some more hardcore Pokemon fans to see Pikachu get the Luxray's share of the attention for more than 25 years, but Pokemon's creators had to put something front and center. Seems those creators chose well as not only is Pokemon more popular than ever before, but most people still love Pikachu. Put its face on anything and it's guaranteed to sell. Turn it into a plush that moves, lights up, and even speaks, then slash its price, and you're almost definitely onto a winner.

There are naturally a lot of Pikachu plushes out there, some of which put the Pokemon in various outfits, but this one doesn't need themed clothing to make it special. The officially licensed soft toy will charge up a Thunder attack when you press and hold its tummy. Don't worry, it's not going to give you an electric shock. That said, I wouldn't recommend taking it into the shower with you.

Rub your Pikachu's head and that's when the fun really begins. Not only will the plush's tail and cheeks light up like a real Pikachu, but it will also verbally react to the attention you're showering it with. It won't just hit you with the standard "Pika-Pi" every single time you do it either. The plush has 30 unique reactions which means it'll take you a while to cycle through them all. It's also why this Pikachu is usually pretty pricey, but you can get it for less than ever on Amazon right now.

The lowest price it has ever been, at least brand new, and I can't imagine it'll be in stock for long, especially with the holidays coming up. The perfect gift for the young Pokemon fan in your life, or for anyone you're eager to share in your love of Pokemon. As noted above, if you've got kids you think might like Pokemon, Pikachu is the perfect place to start. 25 years of evidence has proved that's just a scientific fact at this point.

There will be a lot of Pokemon stuff perfect for the holidays popping up through various retailers as we move closer and closer to December 25.
