Persona 5 Tactica: 10 Best Sub-Persona To Fuse Early

Although you can’t switch between as many Personas as you can carry in Persona 5: Tactica, you do still get to combine and collect as many as you can. This time, though, you get the additional bonus of being able to boost almost everyone in your party with various sub-Persona benefits.

Now everyone in the party can have a secondary Persona - bet you never saw that coming.
PostsHealth and SP are obviously things you want to increase, but it’s also important to think about who you want to have boosted gun or melee damage. Sure, you can make whatever sub-Persona you think looks cool, but it’s important to think carefully about their stats and just who is going to receive their benefits.
10 Archangel
HP: 44
SP: 16
Melee: 20
Gun: 12
At Level 11, the Archangel is great for a starting sub-Persona. However, we would not expect to hold onto him for too long, given that you will quickly find that there are slightly better options. However, if you enjoy frequently sneaking up on your enemies to knock them back, the Archangel gives you a notable boost to your melee damage.
Plus, its unique passive ability, Endless Fighting Spirit, is a must-have. When your HP is above 50 percent, your damage increases, and the best defense is a great offense.
9 Ame-no-Uzume
HP: 44
SP: 24
Melee: 12
Gun: 12
Although most of Ame-no-Uzume's stats at level 12 aren't particularly astounding (aside from her SP), her passive ability shines at lower levels. Regenerate 1 recovers some of your HP at the end of every turn.
Whether you're going into a boss fight or you're just completing a particularly difficult stage, not having to waste someone's turn on something like Dia helps to streamline combat. Even if you opt to fuse Ame-no-Uzume away, cling onto her passive ability like your life depends on it (because it will, eventually).
8 Ippon-Datara
HP: 60
SP: 16
Melee: 24
Gun: 8
For being a level 12 fusion, the Ippon-Datara has some wild health, which makes up for the fact that it's gun damage boost is pretty lacking compared to every other sub-Persona fusion. However, it's easy to get and, given the exceptional health boost, the Ippon-Datara is a good one to hang onto for a while.

PostsYou might not use the Ippon-Datara's passive ability, Punisher of the Reckless too often, but if you do find an enemy out of cover, the extra damage comes in handy.
7 Nekomata
HP: 48
SP: 20
Melee: 20
Gun: 12
As a level 13 fusion, the Nekomata provides a very nice balance over all of the stats, without any significant weak points. The Nekomata could very easily be utilized with any of your teammates, regardless of what stat you're aiming to boost.
This sub-Persona isn't particularly astounding in any one area, but the well-rounded boosts are incredibly beneficial regardless of level. So, if you're just figuring out which sub-Persona to have equipped for which person, the Nekomata is a great stand-in (or even semi-permanent) option.
6 Kushi Mitama
HP: 52
SP: 28
Melee: 12
Gun: 8
The Kushi Mitama may not be the prettiest level 13 fusion you can get, but that smug look is very appealing... as are its stats. With relatively high HP and SP, you can overlook the lower Gun and mediocre Melee stat with ease.
At the very least, the Kushi Mitama will hold you over until you are able to get a higher fusion. The higher SP stat will allow you to keep using your Persona for longer, too, which is a bonus, though you shouldn't equip Kushi Mitama to a character that boosts gun damage in battle.
5 Leanan Sidhe
HP: 52
SP: 32
Melee: 12
Gun: 16
While the Leanan Sidhe isn't the best level 17 fusion, she's certainly second place, if nothing else. Her SP boost is second to none. If you're frequently using your Persona's abilities, then you should have Leanan Sidhe equipped and ready to go before battle. In the areas of Melee and Gun, the stats are still fairly well-balanced.

PostsEven if you don't add a Gun Up character, like Joker, to your party, Leanan Sidhe's stats will still ensure good gun damage for at least one character. If only you could have multiple Leanan Sidhe in one party.
4 Eligor
HP: 68
SP: 24
Melee: 24
Gun: 8
Even as a level 17 fusion, Eligor is possibly one of the best sub-Personas that you can get in the early game. Its high HP, SP, and Melee damage makes overlooking his lower gun damage incredibly easy to do. His Mighty Warrior ability works the best with Area of Effect.
So, to get the most use out of this sub-Persona, it should be equipped on someone who can deal damage over larger areas, with their Persona and their gun. As such, Ryuji is a prime candidate to take on Eligor as his sub-Persona.
3 Yaksini
HP: 56
SP: 24
Melee: 20
Gun: 16
Much like the Nekomata, the Yaksini has well-balanced stats for a level 18 fusion. Nothing is particularly low, just as nothing is astoundingly high, which means if you need a filler sub-Persona, then you should opt for Yaksini.
Yaksini won't be anything breathtaking, but its stats certainly won't hurt any team complication in a negative way. However, you should probably equip her to a character with a high movement range, given the Stalking Hunter ability, which deals more damage when you're behind the enemy.
2 Fuu-Ki
HP: 64
SP: 32
Melee: 16
Gun: 12
Fuu-Ki is a level 18 Persona fusion that will carry you throughout the game, or at least, until something with better stats comes up. In the early game, you're going to have a hard time finding something better than Fuu-Ki, though. Not only does Fuu-Ki offer notably high health in its stats, but you also gain increased SP.
The SP boost is equivalent to Leanen Sidhe, who, up until now, had the highest SP boost among the early game sub-Personas. The only thing that could make Fuu-Ki better would be if it gave you an early-game movement boost too.
1 Phoenix
HP: 68
SP: 32
Melee: 12
Gun: 16
Save Phoenix for your best character, because in the early game, it is one of the best Personas you will get your hands on. Yes, its stats are the same as Fuu-Ki, which is three levels lower than the Phoenix's level 21 fusion demand, but that's not why the Phoenix is the best.
The Phoenix's passive, Hawkeye, increases your ranged attack by one square. If it wasn't obvious, this skill is great for characters with strong weaponry. Sometimes all it takes is one more square of reach to win it all.
